Guestbook comments from the owner

Hi, Norma-- We've had a wonderful, restorative time here; sleeping soundly, eating gloriously and otherwise filling our souls with the beauty and quiet of this extraordinary place. Thank you for sharing your corner of paradise with us! We so appreciate your offer of another night and gave it serious consideration. At this point, we will keep our plans to depart tomorrow, Weds, at around 10 in order to work our way home at a relaxed pace. Again, we couldn't be more satisfied with our visit here. We were unable to book my family's lakeside cabin in Montana for this past weekend, so it's particularly special to enjoy another family's retreat and benefit from the wisdom that chose a perfect spot years before. Highlights: *Memorable meals at Atlas, Martine's, Osaka Sushi, and points northward *Comox Farmer's Market *Biking...some of Seal Bay park, also short jaunts to Berry Best and Abuelo's *Investigating the tide pools along the shoreline *Relaxing in our comfortable, peaceful well-appointed lodgings Again, much thanks and best regards: Annika & Jonathan

Peaceful stay

  • 5 of 5

We loved this studio rental. Very clean with everything we needed. Our hosts were helpful with suggestions of things to see and do. Location is excellent. Enjoyed watching the sea lions, & birds, especially the bald eagles. Park abutting our coastal studio was a place we frequented. We would like to go back.

Owner's Response: Awesome, considerate guests, the studio was left spotless. The rule book is for the ones that need prodding to respect the property they are renting, the Ahlefeld's were exceptional, they can relax a little next time! thank you, for all of your thoughtfulness, do come back! Norma

Beautiful, quiet place to stay,

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our three night stay here. Quiet, beautiful views with the added bonus of watching sea lions float by in the morning. The studio is exactly as pictured. We loved the little extra touches such as binoculars to use to watch the sea lions and other wildlife, and deck of cards to use on a rainy evening. The bed is very comfy. This property is right next to a park which makes for easy walking along the shoreline. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thanks Norma for creating such a great place for guests.
