Great and awesome hospitality

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time. Dave and Diane were very welcoming and our whole family enjoyed the trip. They let my children get on a horse and we enjoyed hotdogs and smores by their fire. Its a place like none other we have stayed.

Warner Robins

absolutely stunning and beautiful bucolic setting

  • 5 of 5

You can not find a more beautiful place in the North GA Mtns. to stay. Convenient to the Hiawassee Mountain Fair, Blairsville, Clayton, Rabun Gap, Bell Mountain, Dahlonega, Brass Town Bald. Plenty of shopping, restaurants and dozens of antique shops and flea markets. You will not find a better Christian set of hosts w Dave and Dianne at the D & D Ranch. I highly recommend them year round !!

We had our annual college reunion here. Great place, clean, quite, beautiful. Enjoyed our trip and the owners are very nice people. We do not usually go to the same location twice, but I think all are looking forward to going back next year.

Family Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We rented this cabin for a family getaway and this cabin was very budget friendly. The cabin came stocked with bath towels, paper towels, garbage bags and so much more. The only thing you need to bring is food to eat. Dave and Diane were awesome hosts. They even made homemade cherry banana ice cream for our kids. We couldn't have asked for any better hosts. They were great. The cabin was very clean and tidy. Our kids spent many hours playing in the creek behind the cabin with tubes that were provided. They let us know all the best places to eat. Daniels Steakhouse is a great country buffet with an amazingly low price. We had an amazing time on the D&D ranch!!!

Anniversary Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a small cabin to stay in for just the two of us and within our budget. We could not have found a better spot to celebrate our 26 year wedding anniversary. It was very peaceful and the creek really added to the beauty of the area. Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the outdoors a little more. We were only there for a day and a half so will definitely plan to stay longer next time. The cabin is decorated in a horse/ranch theme and was very comfortable for two to four people. Did not ask if it had Wi-Fi or not and really didn't care. It was good to get away from technology for the time we spent there. Grocery store within about 7 miles and several restaurants within a 6-10 mile area. We appreciate Dave and Diane sharing their little piece of heaven with us. Looking forward to another long visit in the future.

Car: necessary

This is a 2/br, 2/bth cabin in a valley of the North Georgia Mountains. There is a large creek behind the cabin where the kids can play and stay cool, or can do some fishing. If you're looking for a place to go and have a little fun, Helen is just over the mountain. They have tubing, rafting, helicopter tours, and much more!
