In the winter time it is close to APEX Ski Resort and Nickelplate Nordic for Cross Country skiing and Snow Shoeing. It is also nearby Big White and SilverStar ski resorts.

About the owner: Pat's Perch was build by Pat McHenry- Owners' dad. He choose this spot because of its views. He use local materials to build the stone fire place and the cedar ceilings. The house features art which highlight the Okanagan. This location has been ideal for easy access to Okanagan Lake for swimming or boating, biking and running but also for hiking, golf, sailing and other water recreation. In the winter this spot is short distance away from the APEX ski resort near Penticton and other down hill and Cross Country ski resorts such as Big White and SilverSTAR. We have a private suite below the rental property which we sometimes use when we visit. We live in St.Albert, Alberta.
