Enjoy this tastefully decorated, spacious 3 Story, 4 bedroom/3 bath/sleeps 12 townhouse. The unit is less than a block walk to the beach. You can relax at the house and still enjoy the sun and great ocean and bay views on each of the five decks. This is an end unit facing the ocean, so there is a lot of natural light, and there are ocean views from the living room windows and several of the bedroom windows. You enter the unit into a cozy foyer with several stairs up to the 1st floor. There are 2 spacious bedrooms, a bath with a tub, and a laundry closet on this floor. The 2nd floor has a huge kitchen with granite counter tops, a dining area, and a living room with views of the ocean. The 3rd floor has 2 master bedrooms, each with their own private bath and vaulted ceilings. Both of these bedrooms have views of the ocean and one of these bedrooms has exceptional views of the ocean and has its own private balcony. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and a TV. There is a new flat screen TV in the living room. Please continue reading for a more detailed description of the unit.

- Painted all hallways, living room, dining room & 1st floor bath.

- Replaced quilt & accessories in 2nd master bedroom.

- Purchased new couch & chair for living room. Should arrive sometime in June.

- New 40in flat screen TV in living room. New flat screen TV in 1st master bedroom.

LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION:

Located ocean side on 78th street in midtown Ocean City, MD, Bella Mar, Unit A is just a short walk to the beach. No high rises and very little development on the bay side make 78th street very quiet and this beach is one of the least densely populated in Ocean City! It's a great spot for families with children and couples who want a truly restful vacation. Within walking distance to some great restaurants and a short drive to the grocery store. Bus service is terrific here.

KITCHEN:

Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and 4 stools features granite counter tops, refrigerator with water dispenser, dishwasher, oven with smooth top range, built in microwave, and garbage disposal. The kitchen also provides all utensils, plates, cookware, baking dishes, coffee maker, toaster, and blender.

LIVING ROOM and DINING AREA:

The spacious living room and dining area offers a full sleeper/sofa TV, DVD Player, ceiling fan, and a large dining table which sits 8. Walk outside to the front deck and view the ocean or the bay. Walk outside to the back deck and view the ocean.

MASTER BEDROOM:

Upstairs on the 3rd floor the spacious master bedroom features a queen bed and a twin bed, side table and lamp, full length dresser and mirror, TV, DVD Player, VCR, ceiling fan, a nice sized closet, and a private master bath. Enjoy great views of the ocean from the room or walk outside to a private balcony with views of the ocean and Assawoman Bay. You can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset from this one balcony.

MASTER BATH:

This very clean full bath features a huge walk in shower and plenty of rods to hang towels.

BEDROOM 2:

Also upstairs on the 3rd floor this nice-sized bedroom features a queen bed, side table, dresser, TV, DVD Player, ceiling fan, nice sized closet, and private bath. This bedroom also has great views of the ocean. Walk back into the hallway and relax on the back deck also with views of the ocean.

BATHROOM 2:

This private, very clean, full bath features a tiled standup shower.

BEDROOM 3:

This nice-sized bedroom features a queen bed, side tables and lamps, dresser, ceiling fan, TV, VCR, and a private deck. It has easy access to the hall bath.

BEDROOM 4:

This spacious bedroom features a pyramid bunk (twin over full), dresser, ceiling fan, TV, DVD Player, VCR, and many videos. It also has easy access to the hall bath.

HALL BATH:

The large, very clean hall bath features a tub with a shower.

PARKING:

2 private parking spaces, 1 under the building and the other next to the building provide stress free parking. Additional first-come-first-served public parking is available on the street directly in front of the building.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES:

Private hose to rinse off sandy feet is located under the building next to the private storage closet. Store your beach equipment in this closet or use the beach chairs, sand toys, and 5 bikes we provide for our guests.

OUR PHILOSOPHY:

We have a lot of pride in our ownership and want all of our guests to have a very comfortable stay. We strive for a very clean, up to date, well decorated property. Our housekeeper takes a lot of pride in her work. We spend time before every rental season making improvements to our property so all items are in working order, up to date, and comfortable. After every rental, we ask our guests for suggestions for improvements and make as many as possible during the next off season. We hope you will enjoy our property as much as we do!

About Debbie and Karl Dagg

Our parents owned a condo in Ocean City. They took it off the rental market the summer of 2009 so we were able spend a lot of time there with our 3 kids. They were at an age when going to beach was finally manageable. We really enjoyed our trips and considered purchasing a unit of our own as theirs was being sold. It was just an 'dream' and one that we thought wouldn't happen for a long time. We ended up stumbling on our 1st Ocean City property, Captain's Bridge - also on 78th street, and had such success with it, that we jumped on this property when it became available. We just love 78th Street and it's relatively quiet, uncrowded charm.

While spending a weekend in our other property on 78th street (Captain's Bridge), we stumbled into an open house for this property. We were just curious what this 'newer', 3 story townhouse building looked like inside. We were amazed with its size, how well decorated it was, and its great views of the ocean and bay.

We had a terrific family vacation while staying at your Bella Mar home at the beach. I tried to write a very positive response about our vacation on a VBRO request but could not get it to send.

We loved your house. It was a short easy walk to the beach. The house was so clean and well equipped. The 4 bedrooms fit our family so nicely. We enjoyed eating and talking on the balconies. The huge couch was very comfortable.

We treasure all the memories our family made. We thank you for sharing your home with us. Our vacation time was great!

Nice place !

Our stay at Bella Mar A was an overall good experience. The townhouse is very nice and comfortable and conveniently located between the ocean and the bay. The beach was never very crowded, which was pleasant. Debbie and Karl are very thoughtful regarding their guests, and are quick to respond to any requests or concerns before, and during your stay.

The storage unit with the bikes and beach toys was a nice additional feature and our grandchildren happily took full advantage. The front balconies were nice for sitting and enjoying the scenery. A few things that you may want to take into consideration when renting this property is the amount of steps inside going from each level, and the traffic noise since it's near the Coastal Highway. Other than that we had a great time !

Condo is absolutely beautiful better than expected.

Condo was really so very beautiful, well maintained and fully equipped for all our needs.

The weather wasn't very good the week we were there and caused us to stay in the condo more than we normally would have had the weather been better. We never felt crowded or uncomfortable, condo is very large and spread out with plenty of space to go enjoy some quiet time. There are great views of the ocean and bay from the multiple balconies on both sides of the condo. The owners were accommodating and attentive to our emails and great answered any and all questions promptly. Would highly recommend this condo for rental, it will not disappoint.

Wonderful Vacation Home!

This is the perfect vacation home for a large family group. It so clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished. We had my 2 sons and their families of 4 as well as my husband and myself. Each family had their own space and bathroom. The large open living area was great so everyone could visit whether lounging, eating or cooking. The balconies just added to the experience with views of sunrise and sunsets. The 78th Street location was very close to food stores, shopping, and restaurants. We can't wait to come back again next year.

Great Location and Views!

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place! The views from the decks are fantastic and the house was great! We really enjoyed having the ability to spread out on the 3 floors. The house is great and we had plenty of room for the 9 of us. There was a small problem which Carl called and told us about prior to check in and it was fixed immediately. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Great location and views!!

Our SECURITY DEPOSIT is higher for 1st time renters to protect ourselves. We return it all unless there is a problem. Our house keeper calls us upon checkout to report the condition and assuming there aren't any problems (which we haven't had as of yet), we return the security deposit at that time.
