About Jeff Clary
I moved to New Orleans in 1993 to attend Tulane University. And the City that Care Forgot wasted no time sucking me in. As a young man, this Uptown neighborhood met my every want and need - a half block from Mardi Gras, a quick stumble to some of the best live music in the city at Tipitina's and Les Bons Temps, fine eats at Dick and Jenny's, and plenty of libations within striking distance. Now I am older, with three children, and though my needs have changed the neighborhood still provides - ice cream at Creole Creamery, snowballs at Hansen's Sno-Bliz, two playgrounds, a children's library, and pizza. And of course Mardi Gras.

What makes this House unique
Our lovely house is located Uptown and is a laid-back residential area known for its oak trees and landmark restaurants like the late-night Camellia Grill and the iconic Jacque-Imo’s, serving Creole cuisine. Venerable live music venues include the Maple Leaf Bar, for brass bands, bayou tunes and dancing. Quirky bookstores and indie clothing boutiques line Oak Street, while Palmer Park has a popular monthly art market. Boutiques and antique shops sit alongside fine-dining restaurants, casual cafes and local bars on and around Magazine Street.

Great place to stay in Uptown
Very comfortable place in a great part of town - lots of people out walking their dogs or jogging. Plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Transit is extremely close and quick rideshare response as well. Definitely would rent again.
Love this property!
Our 2nd time staying at this property.... perfect size for my family and has everything you need! Great location! Discovered this year it’s walking distance from Hansen’s!!
Clean, spacious and perfectly situated in a lovely section of Uptown.
We can’t wait to go back! This unit was the perfect fit and location for our family and mini-vacation to New Orleans. A quick walk to fantastic restaurants and shopping, parks for the kids and dog as well as the best Bloody Mary in town at Le Bon Temps Roule - this place has it all and the owners are a delight.
Memorable stay in a spacious and beautiful uptown apartment
We highly recommend this property -- its hardwood floors, high ceilings, and well-appointed kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom give it a home-away-from-home feeling, and its ideal location close to Magazine Street and so many fine shops, cafès, pubs, restaurants, etc. make it a perfect base for exploring New Orleans. In short, it enabled us to have a truly memorable stay in the Crescent City.
Amazing girl's trip
Place was adorable, in a great neighborhood, walkable to a good bit of things. Easy uber ride everywhere. Jeff was very nice and even brought us an extra blanket at 9:00 at night when we needed it! Very clean, highly recommend!!
Great place, cool neighborhood
Husband, dog, and I really enjoyed our week in this cool uptown location. We love to walk and explore and this was the perfect location for it. The place is a couple of blocks from the St. Charles trolly which made it really conveniant for travel to the French Quarter, Audubon Park, etc. The neighborhood itself is full of good restaurants, cool little shops, bars, record shop, tattoo parlor, etc. Parking is right outside the house with no hassle anf the place is clean and cute. If you have a dog there is a good little dog park nearby. Owners were quick to respond, friendly, and had good check in/check out time.
