Location, location, location ~ The Raptor's Haven is a wonderful place to enjoy and relax with family and friends!
This is the perfect home for a single family or multi-family gathering. Enjoy the beautiful outdoors and the comforts of the home's interior year round.
We had a great stay at the Raptors Haven. The house is very spacious and well designed for groups. Three refrigerators, nice pantry and the game room up stairs was a hit with the kids. Bonus points because the solid wooden logs that make up the house are solid and provided good noise dampening
The style of the house was unique and there were some nice touches we noticed during the week. The posts holding up the banister on the stairs had roots that flowed out, wooden bear carvings outside climbing up a tree to a bees nest. The views from the decks are spectacular. Oh and the bedroom above the master has an amazing shower!
The house is also on a quite street with a cul-de-sac which the kids loved riding bikes around.
We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return.
Loved the place!!!! The view of the river was breathtaking especially in the mornings and it's a very nice place for people who like to canoe or just rafting down the river. Would be very nice to have a small place for little kids to swim so you can just sit and enjoy:)
The Raptor's Haven is an amazing home, beautiful, cozy, clean, great amenities and spectacular view!
What an amazing week! There were 3 couples and 4 kids ages (2,3,4,5). Such a great place for us parents as well as the kids. There was plenty of other space for others to sleep in a shared space as well.
One awesome feature that ensured the safety of the kids is detachable gates to the stairs leading off the porch. Our kids loved playing in the grass and playing in the hot-tub. The road out front has very few cars, and a fun place for kids to ride bikes. We did the Pauline Plunge with our 4 and 5 year old and it was great! A must-do if you have kids. There's also a great bike path 10 minutes away at Caldera Springs.
We paddle boarded up the river and floated down the river on tubes. The best short float (45 min) is to the Snow Goose Ct. take-out, which is a great, low-key float for kids. If you want a really long float, you can drop a car at the Sunriver Resort Marina (which now costs $10 per car) and float down to it. It's a 3.5hr float, so be prepared. Another option that many people did was float to the bridge (2 hr).
A great stay, and well worth the drive from PDX.
2 couple & FIVE teens - perfect set up for relaxing, fun & connected time together.
The pictures are great, but don't do this amazing home justice. Everywhere you look the construction is a work of art. Thank you for everything!!
The property is amazing!
I Totally recommend it.
6 of us fisherman had a great time but don't think
Your going to catch fish right at the house. They are there but not in abundance.
I will definitely go back.
