About Brian and Katie Kennedy
We (Kate and Brian) live in Olympia with our three children, two dogs, one cat, a bunny and nine chickens. When were not tending our flock, driving to and from soccer practice or working, we spend as much time on our boat as we can.
Brian and Katie Kennedy purchased this Boat in 2015
Why Brian and Katie Kennedy chose Olympia
We bought our 42 ft. Catalina because of its three cabins, beautiful interior and its "sail-ability". We love where it is moored in downtown Olympia at Percival Landing. The evening views of the sunsets over the Olympics are sublime along with the connection to the downtown small urban scene make this a perfect place to keep a boat.
What makes this Boat unique
Our boat is moored behind a locked gate at One Tree Island Marina which is located on Olympia's historic Percival Landing Boardwalk. From the cockpit and the bow you can see the State Capital Building, Budd Bay and on a clear day you can see the snow capped peaks of the Olympic Mountains. A glass of wine in the evening or coffee in the am in the cockpit at waters edge (literally) is such a sweet experience.

super fun & excellant host Would stay here again in a heartbeat
What a wonderful place to stay in Olympia. Katie walked me thru all the stuff needed to stay on a sailboat. from the codes to get in to the dock to the boat They had the heat on plus had a down comfortable on the bed so I was toasty warm as Nov can be a bit chilly but not on this boat. Clean beyond all means lots of thought on stuff one can do at nite watching a wide assortment of DVDs. The sea gulls & birds were my wait up calls in the a m They had a booklet on table on how to do stuff from lighting stove, emptying the shower stall etc in case you forgot from the walk thru. Was the boat rockie from the waves No way!!!!!!!!!! I was the envy of all my friends that stayed in a boring hotel room Would I stay here again 100% Yes
parking is very close by 4 your car Cannot say enuff positives about how wonderful my stay was Should be rated a 10++++
It was very cozy and comfortable for the two nights that I stayed there.
I was surprised by how spacious yet cozy it is and also how little the boat rocked. It was a great experience!!!!
Great location, lovely boat!
Really fun way to see Olympia.
My friend and I had a really fun time. We had never stayed on a yacht before. It is not something most people get to experience. I highly recommend it. The hosts are really nice people who go out of their way to make sure you have a good stay.

Iv never stayed on a boat before I was surprised at how much room there was. It was clean and had everything we needed
Very considerate host, the boat was well stocked and comfortable, and the location can’t be beat.
