Great Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We had three families renting this cabin. It was perfect--the top floor has a king bedroom and 2 bunk beds, the ground floor has two king bedrooms, and the bottom floor (opening to the patio and hot tub) has a king bedroom and four bunkbeds. The house also has a small fenced yard for pets or small children. The view from both the patio and deck is amazing, and access to the river is easy. We saw deer in the yard at night and along the path beside the river in the morning. The house is very well-maintained, very clean, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. These are the best accommodations I have ever stayed at. The owners clearly care about the property, and it shows!

November 2017 Stay

  • 5 of 5

Three families (11 total) stayed in this beautiful home over Thanksgiving 2017. Great location with gorgeous views. Plenty of room for everyone - the 5 kids loved having the basement to themselves. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in Pagosa Springs.

July 2017 Stay

  • 5 of 5

This was our 5th stay at the Hunker down. Can't say enough good things. The well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals and the great location was far enough from town to be quiet and close enough to hit the hot springs every night!

Great views

  • 4 of 5

Our family truly enjoyed your home. It was clean and comfortable for all of us. The only drawback was the hot tub was very dirty when we arrived.
