Jasmine Cottage

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jasmine Cottage. If you are looking for a nice clean place to stay while visiting Aiken, I highly recommend Jasmine Cottage. The cottage is supplied with all the amenities to dine in and is within walking distance of several nice restaurants and pubs downtown. For us, this was the perfect location for our stay.

Wonderful Home Away from Home!

  • 5 of 5

Went to Aiken to visit friends and decided to live like a local for a few days so I chose this sweet cottage close to downtown and we couldn't have been happier! Set back behind the main house this place had everything and I mean everything. We usually try to stay in places that have some type of kitchen so I bring things along like S&P, coffee, a few things do some light cooking, brought all my soaps and hair stuff, etc. etc., but there was no need, everything was there for us!

The place looked just as pictured. Plenty of parking, spacious living area, accommodating kitchen(with washer/dryer), comfortable queen sized bed and descent sized bathroom. All recently remodeled and very clean! I also go with these type of home away places because we travel with 2 small Dachshunds and it's less stress for them when it's a home situation. This place had a little fenced-in yard so they could run around outside while we sat out having our coffee and planned our day. It also made me feel better about leaving them behind if we decided to take the day to ourselves(they are crate trained).

The location was awesome too. This cottage is among several refreshed, historic homes in a historic neighborhood just a 10 minute walk to downtown and all the shops and restaurants. We ate in several places while there and don't have a bad thing to say about any of them! I'll take those family owned eateries over the corporate restaurants any day! We had a wonderful lunch at the historic 'Wilcox Hotel' On Colleton Ave. Little pricey but you gotta have that special meal at some point, right? Also would recommend the' Aiken Brewing Company' and 'What's Cooking'.

All that being said I have to add Aiken is a hidden gem of town! Beautifully kept, friendly people, pleasant weather and definitely a place I would recommend visiting(or maybe retiring too). Thank you so much Lisa(The proprietor) for everything!

Lovely little cottage in best location

  • 5 of 5

We spent 10 days in Aikin at Jasmine Cottage. It is a very sweet little cottage, nicely updated and furnished. We were very comfortable and couldn't have wished for better. It is very close to Lauren with all its nice shops and restaurants. We spent a lot of time in Hitchcock woods which is also very close. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Cottage Perfect Place to Stay with Dogs

  • 5 of 5

My fiancé and I stayed three night to visit his parents. We loved the place everything was so clean and neat! It was perfect for us and our two large dogs. There was a side yard which the dogs loved. I would suggest this place to anyone visiting Aiken.
