About Mark & Maryanne Coronna, Owners

Aloha! We currently live in the Upper Mississippi River Valley, in a small town that overlooks Lake Pepin. We love working outside in the summer, tending to our 600-vine vineyard. We've spent the last 30 years in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis & Saint Paul, MN), working and raising our family. We've also lived in the heart of London's Mayfair district. But, for Midwesterners like us, coming to Kauai during the winter months is the most rejuvenating experience of all.

It's a blessing to share our home with you! We bought our beach house because we've been coming to Kauai year after year and have always stayed at Kiahuna Plantation. The whale-watching from the beach is spectacular. The sunsets are the most romanitc endings to the perfect days, and we want to make these moments last a lifetime.

What makes this bungalow unique

As owners, we offer our guests the best rates for the property. Updates we made immediately after purchasing in 2013 were stainless steel appliances, bathroom upgrades, bead board, fresh paint, new lighting fixtures, and other upgrades throughout. We are in a quiet location in Phase II of the resort, so we're close to the twin bridges, the great lawn, and beach. We offer a personal touch and communicate with our guests to make sure they have the best experience possible...and, like I said, we have the BEST LOCATION!

Our unit is located in Phase II of the property, and is an end unit on the ground level, with gorgeous garden views from the lanai. #59 is situated near the twin footbridges, just steps from the great lawn and the beach. We provide beach umbrellas, cooler, boogie boards. Unit has plantation shutters, extra-high ceilings (not available in most units) with ceiling fans, and is tastefully decorated with a nautical theme, newly installed bead board, and attractive beach house colors. Two flat screen TVs. New Serta iComfort mattress & box spring. Gas grills are just outside the door for your convenience.

Cozy, Clean, Perfect Location

Our stay was excellent! The unit was so clean and inviting. We used the board games and beach gear available to guests and it really felt like home. Staying here gave us way more freedom than a hotel would have and beach access was so close! Would highly recommend. Thank you!

Fantastic accommodations

My fiancé and I arrived in late October 2015, and spent six wonderful nights here (we actually got engaged on our first day at Kiahuna Plantation). The accommodations are very clean, comfortable and modern, and perfectly situated for two adults. Being my first ever trip to Hawaii, the unit, the resort and the beach set a verrrrrry high bar for any future vacations and we still reminisce often about our stay. Maryanne was very easy to communicate with and also super helpful – we look forward to returning again as soon as humanly possible.

Perfect Island Location

This was the absolute perfect spot on the island! The best beach was a short 5 minute walk from the unit. It is a beach that only people staying in the beach front resorts/condos go to (there's a public beach just down the block that was a bit busier when we took a walk down there). This ground floor level was perfect with quick access to the beach. I felt super safe too. The complex itself is very private and didn't have any outside traffic at all. There is a starbucks across the street with a bunch of awesome restaurants to go to at night as well. We walked to dinner a few times! The unit itself was beautiful and had a very relaxed feel to it. The bed was very comfortable and the living space was quite large. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed - the blender got used daily :). Thank you so much for a wonderful Hawaii experience. We are bound and determined to make it back to Kauai and would definitely stay in this unit again! Maryanne was a great communicator and our stay was so enjoyable. Mahalo!

Wonderful stay

Our family stayed at this condo for a week this summer and loved it! It was exactly as it was advertised - updated, clean and stocked with boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, beach umbrellas and sand toys. It was convenient to the beach near the property, Poipu beach and the pool facility across the street. There was even a little shopping area nearby. My husband doesn't like to visit the same place twice. But, he was convinced to return to this condo on our next trip to Kauai. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

Poipu Condo

Loved the condo at Kiahuna! Maryanne was wonderful with communications, and the property was exactly as pictured. We had stayed at Kiahuna several times before, but this was our favorite location on the property. All of the upgrades and amenities made it the best. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Kiahuna Plantation is a lush tropical setting right on the beach. Our unit is a 2-minute walk to the 'Great Lawn' and white sands of Poipu Beach. Rental includes daily beach towels and chairs at the beach hut, concierge service, and free high-speed internet. The acclaimed Plantation Garden Restaurant is on the premise, in the original plantation manager's home.

Kiahuna Plantation is within easy walking distance to the Poipu Shopping Village, with many unique shops. Restaurants in the Shopping Village range from the casual (but famous) Puka Dog to upscale, world-class cuisine.
