3 Bdrm, 1 1/2 Bath Completely Renovated Very Clean yet Simple Home

This may be the Best Valued 3 Bedroom home in Kailua that is listed here on VRBO. The home is not realistically walking distance from the beach, but it is only a 5 minute drive (1.6 miles) to Kailua Beach.

The main thing to inform travelers is that this home is super convenient to a Safeway grocery store and several local eateries, but it is on a single lane road that feeds our residential community. You can hear cars going by during the work commute M-F and daytime but is quieter during sleeping hours. The master and secondary bedrooms have a portable A/C unit so when you close the windows and use A/C, the outside noise is minimized.

This home has two bedrooms set up beautifully with comfy plush queen beds with the master bedroom having a half bath attached to it. The third bedroom has a very nice queen sleigh solid wood bed, but only ceiling fan, no A/C. All rooms have ceiling fans and the fully equipped kitchen is ready to go if you enjoy cooking at home. This home is turn key as if it is your own!

The living room is equipped with Tommy Bahama couches and a large screen HD 50' SmartTV with cable and a DVD/Blueray Player.....Fastest WiFi available to a residential home.

There is a tall cedar fence that offers privacy where you can sit at the provided patio furniture with a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine.

The owner lives in the back of the property in an attached dwelling. I make myself readily available to answer any questions of things to do, or address any concerns or questions you may have. I have extensive local knowledge in many categories, and I'm happy to share information with you so don't hesitate to ask!

* An Important note is that this home has only one shower, therefore I limit the amount of persons to what is practical for the guests to sleep in comfort. One or Two Couples / In Laws with the kids is perfect! Guests are asked to sleep in the beds and not on the couches. If you have a group of more than four, there is an additional $25/day per person fee. More than 6 is just too many persons for the home and I thank you for understanding that it is to your benefit to find a larger home for your group.

Why Jim chose East Oahu

This property is geared for the people that are active during the day and do not need to sit on the Lanai to look out at the beach. Everything is in close proximity and you can even walk to the Enchanted Lake shopping center that offers several different choices of food as well as a Safeway grocery store. There is even a movie theatre that you can walk to if desired.

What makes this house unique

Olomana Golf course is a great affordable public course that also offers a driving range with lights open until 9pm. Lanikai Beach is the place to go and watch the full moon rise, or hike the pillboxes for the sunrise! Absolutely breathtaking memories are all around you here and if you are open to my local knowledge, I am again more than happy to share! This home is on a road that feeds the residential area here, so if you don't mind normal cars driving by mostly during the day, this will work out great for you and your budget! We also have a Whole Foods store close in Kailua for all your natural food needs.

Perfect location

House was great. Perfect location for our trip. Not in a touristy part of town which was exactly what we wanted. Close to shopping centers, restaurants & even a target for anything you forget. House has everything we needed just had to add food. Highly recommend#

Great family vacation home!

We had a wonderful stay. Jim was responsive to our requests and offered helpful information regarding the island. The fenced yard offered a nice spot to relax and play. Lots of beach equipment and boogie boards were available for use. House was a 3-minute drive to the best beach, Kailua...kid-friendly waves. This is a great, safe location. Highly recommended. Terrific home for family

We (3 adults and 2 children) stayed here for a week. The house was just the right size for us. With the 5 of us, we never felt too crowded or too far away from the kids where we couldn't keep an eye on them. We didn't eat at home too much, but when we did we thought the kitchen had everything we needed. Jim was super kind and helpful and always responded quickly to my text messages. He keeps a great collection of beach toys, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The beds were comfy. Even with the noise of cars driving by, we slept soundly and peacefully.

nice cozy house

Jim's house was a perfect place that our family of four used as a base to visit Oahu. The location was good because it was about a block away, 5 mins walk to a great shopping center with a Safeway, Starbucks, and lots of places to eat. Our recommendation: The Food Company. Jim was welcoming and explained the house details very well. Really appreciated the closet full of thirsty bath and beach towels, the fully equipped kitchen, the spacious living area, and tropical sofas, the laminate flooring, the wood privacy fence that encircled the house. We also were happy to have the option of ceiling fans in the living and bedrooms. Also AC units in the bedrooms were much appreciated. It was a great place, nothing fancy, but clean, cute and cozy! We thought it was almost perfect! The only downside was the traffic noise because of it is on a semi-busy street. We found that closing the front door helped with the noise. Parking was in front of the house on the street and never a problem. Thank you Jim for making it a good place to stay.

Better Than Pictures Displayed

It was very nice, ground level home and very clean. High fenced in front yard with table and chairs. Kitchen was packed with nice essentials..all we could have wanted. My family and I had a great time and the owner was extremely helpful. Perfect location. We will definitely stay there again.

This home is geared toward the affordable traveler who doesn't need to pay top dollar for beachfront in Kailua, but is within a 5 minute drive to Kailua and Lanikai Beaches. Everything you need is a short drive and if you are geared around outdoor activities, this home is a perfect spot to use as your local landing pad where you can regroup, cook meals, shower and rest before your next day's adventure, as if it was your own home! It also has the benefit of many nearby restaurants, a grocery store, and a cinema within walking distance!
