Clean and quiet.
It was clean and quiet.
However, the codes we were sent to get onto the pier and the wifi were not correct. We had to call to find out that the updated code and password were on the refrig door. Also issue with remote.
Neither of these issues were really a problem more of a nuisance and we enjoyed our stay.
was very clean, but really ready for a remodeling.
was clean, but in need of a remodeling. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. The motor ran, but drew no air out. Had a nice view. was very tight for 4 adults
The Sea Cabins were built in the early 1980s to accommodate a family of four-six with 1 bedroom, 2 built in bunk beds and a den with a sleeper sofa. Some have been more updated than others. For the cost of a 280 sf 1 bedroom oceanfront hotel on the island, you get 2x the size with the free amenities that include a private oceanfront balcony, fishing pier and pool. Most all of the 2nd and 3rd floor units have excellent ocean views and are just steps from the ocean. I manage several Sea Cabins with differing updates and prices. We have generally had excellent reviews at this one and I am sorry you found it to be below par. We cannot do anything about the size, but the owner has recently improved it with new counter tops and a new sleeper sofa. The carpets will be replaced this winter.
I booked this condo based on the reviews and I was very pleased!
I friend and I came for a girls trip and I chose to sleep on the fold out bed in the living room. I love taking sunrise photos and I could see the sunrise over the pier from the bed, or enjoyed it from the balcony while sipping coffee. One morning I watched the sunrise from the private pier and there was also a rainbow in the opposite direction. It was beautiful!! The condo was great! We didn’t cook but I hope to bring my husband to the condo next time because he enjoys cooking and I noticed the condo was well stocked!! I’ll be back! Loved it!
Thank you for the kind review!!
Worth the money
The view of the ocean was amazing, the pool very clean, and facilities very clean. We have a 10 & 13 year old so one bathroom and not enough storage, but otherwise an amazing place and time.
If you don't expect it to be a luxury suite and are not scared of stares to third floor (which we didn't) this place is great!
The description of all amenities is very fare. The apartment is well maintained, has all major things you need for a family stay. The private beach is excellent and the pool place is nice and clean.
Nice oceanfront property
Stayed here with my two teenagers and husband. Condo is in a great location, plenty of parking, and has a nice pool area. Things to consider- on third floor and no elevator, if you have large bags this can be tough, esp in the August heat.
The bunks are narrower than normal twin beds, it was a little tight for teenagers.
Overall a great value and location.
Near the heart of downtown Isle of Palms close to restaurants, shops & nightclubs. Just a 20 minute drive to downtown Historic Charleston. Fishing pier and swimming pool exclusive to Sea Cabin guests and owners free of charge.
