*** Will start taking reservations for Summer 2016 on April 15th.****
We have lived in the Whitefish area for 6 years and vacationed here for many years prior. We love our town and you will too. Whitefish lake is down the street, mountain biking on Big Mtn, golf at Grouse Mountain. Take a day trip to Glacier National Park.
Liz purchased this townhome in 2012
For the price and the space, it is hard to find a similar property in town. Most large townhomes are on the ski mountain. We are located a few steps away from Alpine Market for all your grocery needs, across the street from the best espresso stand in town, and a short walk from the tiki bar and restaurants at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake.
Hot tub and grill.
The property was very clean and well furnished. Location was great-- short walk to the Resort, a nice grocery, ice skating rink, and local brewery. It's also easy access to downtown and the ski area. The owner was very responsive to all of requests and questions. Would highly recommend for a stay with family or friends when coming to Whitefish.
We were very pleased with the space in the townhouse. We were in charge of putting on our Family Golf Tournament this year and found there to be ample space to work with the amount of stuff we had coming and going each day...and it never felt in our way when we had time for R&R or when we had some guests over. We were able to work and play without the two getting in the way of each other. This town house is very clean and comfortable. A nice walk to town or the beach was welcome exercise and not daunting...just plan for it.
We stayed here for 3 weeks in Janurary. The house is conviently located close to the snow bus stop the cowgirl coffee kiosk is just across the road and town is 5 min away by car. We loved it here the skiing is awesome on Big Mountain the town is super cute and has retained a lot of its heritage an character and Lizs town house is a great place to stay. We loved the nice spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage, the lovely gas fireplace, and being able to park the car in a garage so you dont have to scrape the snow off in the morning. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, cutlery and cooking items I am a keen cook and had everything I needed in the kitchen.
Thank you Liz for sharing your house with us.
Excellent location-convenient to groceries, convenient for snow bus to the hill, not to far by car to downtown Whitefish. Clean, spacious, very comfortable beds and great private hot tub(priceless after a day of skiing). Nicely decorated with a very homey feeling.
The townhome was absolutely perfect for our anniversary celebration to Glacier with our 2 adult children and their significant others. 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, sparkling large kitchen and spacious living area, deck with hot tub, modern washer/dryer, and close proximity to downtown Whitefish were fabulous. All of the amenities were amply provided. Best way to celebrate in comfortable family style. Highly recommend and would stay again.
The townhome was lovely and exactly as described. Decorations are western cabin country. The entire home was clean and well appointed. Hot tub on the private back deck and nice seating area. Kitchen was completely equipped including coffee in the freezer and grinder and coffee maker. There was lots of extra bedding in the closet. I would go back in a heartbeat and we are considering another trip. Premium skiing just ten minutes away at one of the nicer hills in Montana and the Northwest. A darling grocery store with tasty deli is a 4 minute walk. We had a couple delightful gourmet breakfast sandwiches for extremely thrifty. Right across the street is a coffee kiosk. Whitefish was very busy that weekend, lots and lots of happy tourists. The downtown is bustling night and day. We were in town the same weekend as the Huckleberry Festival and Free arts and crafts show in the town park by the railroad station. Of course there was the expected summertime road construction. Liz was extremely social and helpful and available for questions or advice. I felt that I could contact her at any time and get a response. We ate at the Mackenzie River pizza and sandwich, one of our favorite places and The Buffalo Cafe both in downtown Whitefish. There were 3 TV's, 3 toilets, 2 tubs, 2 showers. The beds were clean and very comfortable. We plan to come again and stay in the same place if it is available.
