Great Trip!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I spent a long weekend at the Big Cedar Wilderness Club for our anniversary. We were not disappointed. The unit was very well maintained, clean and very comfortable. The customer service at both the Wilderness Club and Big Cedar are #1. Everyone is very courteous and helpful in answering our questions. David S. was very responsive to every question I had. This is a first class resort in the heart of the Ozarks. Although we did not use the shuttle service it is a great option for traveling around the property. All the restaurants did an excellent job. I would highly suggest dinner at Top of the Rock. Thanks David. We will be back.

Good experience!

  • 4 of 5

The condo is older but it's very comfortable. Everything we needed including a stove, mini fridge, microwave, ultensils and etc... we turned down the timeshare tour offer right away. No daily housekeeper but available upon request. People are nice and helpful. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful Stay in Phoenix River Lodge Studio Unit

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed in a studio unit at Big Cedar Wilderness Club and could not be more pleased. The kitchenette was a huge plus as it allowed us the ability to cook things for our picky kiddos including things like noodles and popcorn. The room was spacious and everything we needed was provided. We easily walked to the lazy river and pool and a shuttle was provided when we wanted to get to other areas of the resort including the main Big Cedar pools and grounds. We will definitely return next summer. My boys loved the cookies that were left each afternoon - a different flavor was left each day! The building we were in did not have laundry facilities but it was a short walk to a building that did have laundry facilities (and there was even a laundry basket provided in our room). I was pleased to see that the laundry facilities were free to use and the soap was even provided.

*Note* Daily housekeeping service was not provided, which was not an issue for us at all but I thought I would make mention of it for others. We were able to easily request clean towels as needed.

Lots of activities and great rooms

  • 5 of 5

I initially bought the package for my parents for Christmas, but my mom became ill and they weren't able to use it. Dave was very helpful getting the reservation transferred into my name and assisting us with information. My husband and our two girls (ages 14 and 12) had a studio which included a king size bed and a couch that folded out into a bed for the girls. The rooms was great and the fridge, microwave and cook top came in very handy. We also used the grills to cook several meals. We spent the majority of the time rotating through the beach, the pool at the falls and the lazy river. Our girls swam for 10-12 hours a day and had a blast! We really appreciated being able to take our own cooler of drinks and food with us to each area, it really helped cut down on expenses. Our favorite part of the resort was the movies at the marina, the girls loved floating in their tubes and watching the outdoor movie on the big screen. We also ate at the bar one night and the food and local entertainment was fabulous! Our last day there we ate at the all you can eat buffet and meet Big Fish and had him make us omelets. We are all ready to head back!

Big Cedar Studio Stay June 2-5, 2016

  • 5 of 5

Had an AMAZING stay at Big Cedar Lodge! Studio was clean, well-appointed & very comfortable. Owner was easily available & prompt in responding to the need to make changes in the reservation due to a family member being hospitalized. So grateful to you for sharing your studio & being so flexible! Great memories were created that weekend thanks to you!
