Excellent

Clean, well furnished, and well maintained. Worked nicely for us while attending Chautauqua nearby.

Clean, comfortable, and a great location.

  • 5 of 5

We had such a nice stay in the little downstairs apartment. We felt well cared for, but had all of the privacy and independence we could want. We would be happy to stay again!

bright, clean and comfortable with a view

  • 5 of 5

This is a very nice place -- plenty of room for 2 - 4, (we are 2) nice view of the lake, literally minutes from the Chautauqua Institution (we went there every day), well appointed kitchen. Good TV -- for you Cleveland Indians fans, it gets STO so you get the games. WiFi and cell phones worked well. Place is air conditioned but stays cool so we didn't have to use it -- all the windows open.. Nice neighborhood to walk in. Quiet. We didn't take advantage of the offerings of the campground, nor did we rent kayaks or bikes -- mostly we just went to the Institution and relaxed and this is a good place to do that! We would recommend it.

Lovely stay

  • 4 of 5

We stayed over Labor Day weekend with our two children and it was a great accommodations. It had everything we needed and the owners were very detailed about what we needed to do. Laundry and kitchen accommodations were very useful and the home was extremely tidy and comfortable. WiFi worked perfectly. The deck is only on the one side of the house but there is a full view from inside the apartment. The nearby pool associated with the Chautauqua Campgrounds was nice but can be crowded during the day. For out-of-towners, unfortunately the Chautauqua area pretty much shuts down just before or as the Labor Day weekend settles in. There was still plenty to do but I'm sure there's a lot more going on during the main season. This is definitely the place if you are looking for a chill and relaxing getaway. Thanks so much to the owners for sharing your home with us.

Attractive, air-conditioned, modern apartment with a spectacular view.

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from 2 weeks at this clean, quiet, and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment while visiting near-by Chautauqua Institution. The apartment is very bright and has a window wall with a breath-taking view of Chautauqua Lake.

The kitchen has new appliances and cabinets, including a dish washer. There is a deck (with a small grill) overlooking the lake. When it was too hot to sit outside, we retired to the air-conditioned comfort of the great room, where we were still able to view the mesmerizing activity on the beautiful lake whilst sitting on the sofa.

Also convenient, is the washer/dryer combo located in the large bathroom.

Please note there is a flight of steps down to private entrance of the apartment.

The delightful owners, who were a pleasure to work with, live upstairs. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!

Great get away w/ a view

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful apartment w/ great views of the lake & nice deck for eating & reading. I like to run & found many roads in the area & adjacent campground great for a peaceful & safe run. There was plenty of room for my husband , son & I to spread out. Why spend the same for a hotel in Erie when you can get a view and kitchen to cook if you want?

We spent 3 nights there and did day trips in the area ; Lake Erie beaches, wineries, Small towns along the lake. We even saw a water ski show on Sunday afternoon. Didn't get to Chataqua institute.. but next time....
