About Pamela Leonard

Hello, Thanks for stopping by. As a native of Northern Michigan, I invite you to come and enjoy all that Leelanau County has to offer. From great beaches to wineries and shopping and restaurants, this area has it all. Which is why I live here and love the hospitality business , in fact I own and manage a waterfront Inn nearby in Suttons Bay( The Vineyard Inn) and currently have a another hotel under construction in downtown Suttons Bay. I love hospitality and enjoy sharing my vacation rentals with families and couples so that they can have fond memories of their vacation in Leelanau County. We also own a popular waterfront restaurant and beach bar and host over 75 large weddings events a year at our Waterfront Farm ' Crooked Creek Ranch and French Valley Vineyards

( tasting room coming soon to downtown Suttons Bay) Please feel free to call us with any questions on the area or the cottage.

Why Pamela Leonard chose Northwest

This cottage is an excellent value. It has all the comforts of home and is a great value considering it is less expensive than most hotels and B & B's in the area and yet you get an entire house complete with full kitchen , laundry , fireplace , fire pit in the back yard , views of the park and beach beyond. Ideally located in the quiet village of Northport so that you can walk or bike anywhere.

This adorable bungalow is as close as you can to the beach at half the price of direct waterfront properties.

What makes this cottage unique

Beaches-close to several quaint coastal villages ie Leland, Suttons Bay , Omena,, great biking and running trails, Lighthouse, beautiful Marina,

House has nice interiors, multiple outside decks for entertaining, bonfire pit and just about the best location to listen to the Classical music (concerts weekly in the summer at the Park Pavillon)

This was the perfect 4th of July get away. What a awesome little getaway cottage. You will NOT be disappointed one bit. All details went so smooth with booking with the owner. Everything promised is what was delivered. Great lay out and very clean. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sitting on the deck in the morning with coffee and a cocktail in the evening was so relaxing. The view from the deck is priceless. And with the park just across the street it make it a hop. skip and jump to the beach. We even watched the fireworks. We had great shopping in the downtown area. Great gift shops and unique shops. We had lunch and dinner at the local Fischers Happy Hour. Great atmosphere and the burgers were tasty and good cocktails. You could also check out Knot Just A Bar resturant right on the water in Onema. Great setting and food and drinks. You would not be disappointed with this rental. We highly recommend it.

Nestled at the tip of Michigan’s “Little Finger” the villages of Leland Northport and Omena and the surrounding countryside offer small town charm and friendliness, one of the most beautiful marinas on the Great Lakes, unique shops, restaurants and places to stay.

Why visit Northport and Omena? A better question is why not? When you visit here you’ll find your cares drift away as you settle into the relaxed pace of our community. Enjoy our beautiful night sky where the stars provide a sparkling light show. Spend a day at one of our stunning public parks and beaches, enjoying a picnic and a swim or just luxuriating in the beauty and calm that our area has to offer. Agriculture, tourism, sailing, fishing, wine touring and hunting have been part of the local history of the Northport-Omena area for generations and remain important to the local culture and economy today.
