The house is full of character and charm, and is in a premier location in Madison, only 5 houses down from East Wharf Beach. The house can be configured to sleep up to 6 people. Perfect for a family looking for a beach getaway in lovely, scenic Madison, Connecticut. The cottage includes 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, an outdoor shower, a living room, dining room and glassed in sunporch. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The larger bedroom can accommodate an additional single bed if requested. The sunporch includes a convertible twin sleeper chair for an additional guest. It also has a private backyard, great for BBQs and relaxing after a day at the beach. Stays during peak times from mid-June through August are typically for Saturday to Saturday only. Discounts are available for longer stays than 7 nights, so please inquire. East Wharf Beach is operated by the Town of Madison and just down the street from the cottage. The house is also within a 5 minute drive, or 15 minute bike ride, to Madison's Surf Club, which includes a long sandy beach, playground and snack bar. Guests can walk into the Surf Club for free or purchase a daily parking permit. The house is also a 5 minute drive from the the scenic state beaches at Hammonassett State Park.
