About Jamie Lou Wamsley

As a native to Arizona, I have lived in Scottsdale, Arizona my entire life. The cabin was built in 2008 and after a few years of enjoyment, the kids grew up and got involved in club sports and our free time for Williams dwindled. We decided to open our home five years ago to renters and share the Williams experience with others, and so far its been a delightful experience.

Jamie Lou Wamsley purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Jamie Lou Wamsley chose Canyon Country & Northeast

With a simple three hour drive from Scottsdale, AZ, this gem of a town has become my home away from home. Only in Williams will you find a scenic railway tour, a drive-thru wildlife park, wild west entertainment, Route 66 and extraordinary way to enjoy the majestic Grand Canyon.

What makes this cabin unique

Visiting in the Spring or Summer? Take advantage of a beautiful golf course with stunning views, nearly one hundred hiking trails, mountain biking trails, off road terrain, camping, fishing, birding and more.

Family memories

  • 5 of 5

Wow! What an amazing property! Very spacious, well maintained and family friendly. The cabin is rustic, well laid out and the surrounding countryside is perfect... close to town and other recreation activities. Plenty of room for kids to play and adults to relax. Definitely a place our family will return to.

Beautiful relaxing retreat!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 enjoyed our August week in this beautiful cabin! We traveled from Ohio and found the climate, topography, people, and large amount of things to do close to this home base perfect! Days were spent in the Grand Canyon, Williams, or Sedona. Many memories made. Have to say - do not hesitate to book this gem of the West! The home is even better than described by the owner. Everything you need to unplug and relax in the mountains is here. Or don't unplug and there are TVs throughout. Grocery store is near the home and affordable with quality produce and meats. Home is furnished very comfortably with high end sheets, appliances and decor. All of us loved it. We will miss early mornings on the front deck drinking coffee and watching the prairie dogs! Thank you for the use of your home!

Beautiful!

  • 4 of 5

We (8 of us girls) came to visit a friend who lives in Williams, AZ, we have been friends since elementary school. I found this beautiful cabin on VRBO that fit all of us very comfortably. The cabin was filled with all the amenities listed. And yes there were bugs, bats, critters, etc., but we were in the woods and that just made it all the more fun! If you are looking for a great stay with a big group, this is the place you want to be! Plenty of bathrooms, living space, even your own quite corner can be found on this wonderful property. Close to town but far enough away to enjoy the peace of the beautiful surrounding mountains. Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Sedona, all within a days trip away. Thank you Jamie Lou for sharing your beautiful cabin!

Cooler days

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was great there where no hidden factors the owner was straight up on what to expect. Although we only live less then two hours away it was a great break from the heat. The cabin had everything to make us feel at home. Even with no wifi which for me was the best. Kids and guests that stopped by played board games and cards istead of the phone in constant use. I would recommend this cabin any time.

Beautiful Cabin, Great location

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy some down time. Kids had a blast putting together puzzles and playing games that were there. Spent our days traveling to site see....one hour to the Grand Canyon, an hour to Flagstaff, hour and a half to Sedona and a day in Williams, then spent our evenings relaxing at the cabin or taking a scenic drive to see the deer and elk. Coffee on the porch in the mornings. Absolutely perfect vacation. Owner was very easy to work with and answered all our questions promptly that we had before our arrivals. Great experience from start to finish.
