About Lee Morgan
I am a Canadian-trained osteopath practicing manual therapy in San Francisco. I specialize in working with infants and children. I travel to India every year to work with disabled children and am currently focusing on raising money to build the first school for disabled children in the town of Tiruvanamalai, South India. I love to travel, new adventures, nature, a good cappuccino, and dancing Argentine tango.
Lee Morgan purchased this Condo in 1996
Why Lee Morgan chose North Beach
The location is fantastic. You are in the heart of the city, but you feel like you are in nature. You get to watch the boats and weather across the San Francisco Bay, and stay cosy in front of a warm fire.
What makes this Condo unique
The view takes my breath away every morning and I have been living here for 15 years. I have beautiful antiques and the place is peaceful, a lovely retreat in the heart of San Francisco.

Experience San Francisco as a Native
From the informative communication with the owner, Lee Morgan, through a smooth check in and introduction to the condo, my husband and I knew a great week lay ahead. The condo was beautifully furnished, well maintained, and well-equipped, and the view of the Bay from the living room windows was breathtaking. The location couldn't be better. Street parking was easy, a rarity in San Francisco, and we could leave the car to walk to all the places we wanted to go-- the murals at Coit Tower, the Ferry Building to shop for dinner, North Beach for a late lunch near Washington Square, a ferry ride to Sausalito to see the City from the other side of the Bay. Then home to the quiet respite that the condo neighborhood offers. If we lived in San Francisco instead of thirty miles away, we would choose this condo and this neighborhood as the perfect place to be to experience San Francisco as a native, not a tourist.
Beautiful spot. Great neighborhood. Would go back
what a wonderful apartment and great view and location.
we plan to return.
My stay in the condo was fabulous ! spectacular accommodations and an even better view !
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this lovely condo! The view from the picture window overlooking the bay was awesome . I felt so relaxed and perfectly content to sit at the table and gaze at the freighters going by slowly and delight in the sailboats scattered over the bay. It was a lovely walk through the neighborhood to my son’s condo which was about 10 minutes away. Getting “lost”on my way to my son’s home was even a fun adventure as found my way around Coit Tower. The architecture in the neighborhood was beautiful. I would definitely love to stay there again when I visit my son!
If you want to experience the San Francisco bay area this is the place for you. It is a very comfortable and tastefully furnished apartment in a 1930s Spanish style building on the north face of Telegraph Hill. The pictures do not do this place justice. The living room window provides an excellent expansive view of the bay while letting in plenty of light for an open airy feeling. The apartment provides all you need to live like a local and is very clean and well decorated. I especially enjoyed the Alexander Calder prints. As to location it is excellently located for all your dining and shopping needs and is walking distance to North Beach, Chinatown and downtown. I didn't use any public transportation during my stay. Overall an excellent place to enjoy your stay in San Francisco. If you choose to stay here you will fondly remember the words of Rudyard Kipling: "San Francisco has only one drawback.....'tis hard to leave."
This condo is amazing -- beautiful, every amenity, and incredible views!
We only have rave reviews about Lee's beautiful condo. It's at the top of Telegraph Hill which offers outstanding views of the Bay. The small rooftop deck (up 5 flights of stairs) was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and panoramic views of the Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay bridge...it was one of our favorite features of our stay. The location is perfect -- quiet but convenient to many of the best sites and activities. We didn't have a car, which worked out fine. It's a very hilly area, but we enjoyed walking the neighborhoods and appreciating the architecture. (Uber is always an option if you don't like walking the hills.) We've never experienced such thoughtful touches of hospitality at anything we've rented before. Lee left coffee and teas, cream, yogurt and granola -- we truly felt like we were staying at a friend's home. Furnishings are beautiful, appliances are top-of-the-line, and the bed is really comfortable. It's also immaculate! Lee offered us so much helpful information prior to our trip, too. If our travels bring us back to San Francisco, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. It was truly memorable!
It's just a short walk down the hill to the heart of North Beach, San Francisco's old world Italian neighborhood.
Fabulous restaurants, bars, music venues, and coffeehouses, Washington Square Park, French and Italian bakeries, City Lights Bookstore, Pilates and yoga studios, the Sunday farmer's market and more delights are just footsteps away.
Coit Tower, the iconic landmark atop Telegraph Hill, is a few blocks away offering 360 degree views of the city, the bay and both bridges. The inside of Coit Tower houses historic New Deal murals. We are also near the famous Filbert Street steps, home to the wild parrots of Telegraph Hill. The bustling markets of Chinatown, the financial district and downtown Union Square are all within walking distance.
The cablecar is 5 blocks away. City buses 30 and 45 run down Columbus Ave and the Embarcadero streetcar is also nearby. The Blue and Gold Ferry to Sausalito, Tiburon, Angel island and Alcatraz are down the hill at Piers 39 and 41.
Shopping is easy as we have a Trader Joe's, a Safeway, a natural foods store and many gourmet specialty shops close by.
