Nice and cozy!
Perfect affordable summer place
Delightful, comfortable, convenient
Cozy
I do my best to rid the space of spiders but it is impossible to keep them away. They thrive in Seattle.
There is no TV since I don't own one myself.
Wifi connection is good.
Quaint place
Location
This is a good walking neighborhood with easy access to the city bus line. The UW is a 10 minute walk south. There is high end shopping and a wide variety of restaurants and services at the U Village due east down the hill. Take the stairway that is NE 52nd St. You will cross the Burke Gilman Trail which used to be a railway. It is now a bike path that runs from the top of Lake Washington all the way to Ballard. To the west there are more funky boutiques, a Goodwill, several consignment stores, and ethnic restaurants to the west on University Way otherwise known as The Ave. Get great pizza at Pagliacci's. For Indian food, there is the Jewel of India or Cedars. Vegan? Got to Chaco Canyon on NE 50th St and 12th Ave NE. Do not miss the variety of bookstores on The Ave as well as coffee shops. The closest coffee shop is north on Ravenna Boulevard called Boulevard Grocery between 20th and 21st NE further north on 20th, walk on a bridge over a ravine through a residential neighborhood to find Third Place Books. Within the bookstore to the back is a great Greek restaurant called Vios and a pub downstairs called the Third Place. Follow Ravenna Boulevard west for 2 miles and you will come to Green Lake, Seattle's favorite park. You can rent paddleboats there or walk the 3.3 mile perimeter and birdwatch or people watch.
