How to have a wicked good cape cod beach vacation:
1. A private beach - Popponesset beach is a family friendly private beach; private so you avoid the masses, sandy so it is easy on the toes, gentle waves so it is fun for all ages, warm being located on vineyard sound & picturesque so you bring home memories.
2. Be close to the beach - our beach home is the second home from the beach! Only a few steps and your toes are in the sand. Need a potty break or a snack? Forgot the sunscreen? Run up & back to the cottage before anybody knows your gone.
3. Relax in comfort - our beach home is a charming cape cod cottage, a place where the living is easy and casual. 3 generous bedrooms comfortably sleeps 6, an outdoor shower is amazing after a day at the beach, a large back deck & a large yard for grilling & chilling, AC just in case the cool ocean breezes are calm & WiFi so you can upload all your pictures to Facebook.
4 location, location, location - not only are you only steps away from the beach, everything else you need is only a short distance away. The poppy marketplace is a leisurely stroll or bike ride away (0.6 miles) where you will find a general store, pizza, miniature golf, the raw bar (best lobster rolls on the cape, the chowder is not bad either), art & gift shops, and the charming popponesset inn for a special dinner. The Mashpee commons is where you'll find some of the best dining & shopping on the cape as well as a movie theater & grocery stores, a short 4 mile drive.
5. Book it now - before someone else does. Usually our home is booked a year in advance because we have a long history of multi-week, repeat renters. We haven't had the need to advertise with vrbo so we don't have a long history with the website, but we have a few openings this year we would like to fill. So take advantage of it and have the best cape cod vacation you have ever had.
