About Valerie Edwards

We work hard & like to play hard and enjoy outdoor activities. Duck Creek provides such a variety of opportunities for fun & excitement. Just leaving the craziness of Las Vegas & the 100+ temperatures for the cooler scenic views of UT is a true blessing.

Valerie Edwards purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Valerie Edwards chose Duck Creek Village

We absolutely love the outdoors and with so many National Treasures surrounding Duck Creek, it is simply the best place to be. The Piute ATV Trails are right down the road and with our ATV’s, we can leave for an entire day of riding and then sit back and enjoy a glass of wine on the deck while BBQ and socializing with friends & family. Having annual passes at the National parks allow us to share our joy of the outdoors with our kids, grandchild and our son's Boy Scout Troop.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for the wonderful experience in your cabin. We had the time of our life utilizing our RZR's and hiking both Zion and Bryce Canyon. See you next year!

Love the Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful cabin. It has all the creature comforts of home and is cozy and inviting. We enjoyed a day in the cabin, watching movies and loved the coziness of the fire on a gray day. If you are planning on staying fear not, there is a well stocked condiment supply in the cupboards and refrigerator. It is located near both Bryce and Zion, but we also did some things near the cabin as well. We took the hike to the beautiful water falls, checked out the Ice Cave, and the Mammoth Cave. It will be a prospect for the future.

Wonderful cabin in Duck Creek

  • 5 of 5

We just returned home from an 8-day trip to Utah where we spent half of our time in the Bryce/Zion area and called this cabin our "home base". The cabin lived up to all of the reviews posted from previous users. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The cabin is very spacious, has all of the amenities one would hope for, was very well maintained, and had everything we needed. The cabin is a 1-hour drive from Bryce Canyon and an 80 minute drive to Zion. Additionally, Cedar Break National Monument is a 20 minute drive from the cabin. Duck Creek Village is a small, but quaint town. There are three restaurants to choose from and we ate at all three and had a pleasant experience at each one. Although grocery shopping is limited, we were able to fill up on snacks and enough things to keep us fed in between meals at the restaurants. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone interested in forgoing the "hotel stay" options while visiting the Zion/Bryce area. Thank you Edwards family!

Beautiful, clean, and organized.

  • 4 of 5

This was a great cabin! It had plenty of room and storage, with everything being organized and clean. The outdoor space was beautiful, and great for kids. The fire pit was great for gatherings. The only downside to the cabin was that the upstairs bathroom was rather small. Everything else was great. We had an amazing time, and hope to visit again.
