We work hard & like to play hard and enjoy outdoor activities. Duck Creek provides such a variety of opportunities for fun & excitement. Just leaving the craziness of Las Vegas & the 100+ temperatures for the cooler scenic views of UT is a true blessing.
Valerie Edwards purchased this cabin in 2013
We absolutely love the outdoors and with so many National Treasures surrounding Duck Creek, it is simply the best place to be. The Piute ATV Trails are right down the road and with our ATV’s, we can leave for an entire day of riding and then sit back and enjoy a glass of wine on the deck while BBQ and socializing with friends & family. Having annual passes at the National parks allow us to share our joy of the outdoors with our kids, grandchild and our son's Boy Scout Troop.
Thank you for the wonderful experience in your cabin. We had the time of our life utilizing our RZR's and hiking both Zion and Bryce Canyon. See you next year!
We had a week of total relaxation and comfort in this cabin.. Sparkling clean with all the comforts of home and a most relaxing place to return to after our beautiful side trips. It was convenient to Zion and Bryce plus local places that were just as lovely. The cabin was quiet and peaceful. And the road trips -- going and coming to these fabulous places -- were outstanding beauty too. We were at 'home' for sure and hated to leave… One word of wisdom.. Buy all your food in Cedar because you might never go there again.. We drove 800 miles that week and never saw a grocery store… Just expensive basics at little local places but not 'dinner or lunch' groceries.. We did like the lodge 1/4 mile away for good pizza --and breakfast too..( Watch the deer.. They will run onto the road and wreck your car.. We saw quite a few but were lucky to miss them) Don't hesitate to rent this cabin.. My son and I loved it.
Loved this cabin! We stayed here in August 2016 for 8 nights with 9 members of our family and friends. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house and land around are VERY beautiful - the photo does not do it justice. We visited Bryce Canyon, Zion and Cedar Breaks National Monument. It was a lovely place to relax after a full day of sightseeing. We loved the fully equipped kitchen and the fire pit in the evening. Plenty of dishes & cookware. We also appreciated the early check-in time that Valerie was able to give us. We were well informed on what are provided in the cabin, and Valerie did make sure that supplies are stocked up for us all 8-9 days. It is clean and lots of room to move around. Loved the 3 levels of the cabin, gave us enough room to spread out..grown-ups on one level kid's on another.
The Owner responded promptly to all my questions. The cabin is located between Zion NP and Bryce. Very impressed.
Planning on to come back every year to escape Arizona Heat.
Cabin, Area, Owner = A+++++++
THANK YOU Valerie.

THANK YOU Valerie.
This was our first time renting a cabin through VRBO and Valerie made it an easy process. She replied promptly and checked in with us to make sure we didn't have any questions or issues. The cabin had everything that a standard house would have. It is very clean, spacious, and well-maintained. My children had fun exploring the three levels of the cabin as well as the outdoor property. There is a nice fire pit in the yard with an ample supply of firewood where we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. There were a lot of games, movies, and books to keep my children occupied in the evenings. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The cabin is in a great location being close to the village and several hiking and fishing areas. The kitchen has everything that you would need to cook or bake including many spices and condiments. Since the cabin has three bathrooms and many beds available, it would be easy to share this cabin with another family. Valerie was so kind and easy to work with. Before arrival and in the cabin, there are many tips and info sheets provided on things to do in the area if it is your first time visiting. I look forward to renting from her again and staying at this lovely getaway.
Fabulous cabin, perfect location, out of the crowds, best rental experience ever. We use home away regularly and the owner of this cabin is the best! Loved all of the information that was provided to us about the area. Cabin is stocked with more than enough of everything. We never had the thought of 'I wish they had .....' Beds were very comfortable and plenty of room for all 10 of us! We will definitely be staying here again!
We absolutely loved this cabin. It was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well-equipped, as well as a high chair and pac-n-play for the baby, blankets, towels, games, movies, everything we needed. Most evenings we were visited by deer in the yard while we played horse shoes or roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. It was also great to have the firewood supplied by the owner. The location was awesome with lots of things to do in the area, plus Bryce Canyon, Zions, Kolob Canyon, Grand Staircase just a few miles away. The best part was working with the owner on reserving and using the cabin. They were so accommodating with early check-in and easy check-out procedures, she also provided lots of information about things to do in the area and surrounding areas. I've rented several different cabins and she was definitely the kindness, easiest and most accommodating person I have worked with. In the end I felt like we were old friends. I highly recommend staying at this lovely cabin.
Horseback riding in Bryce, Hiking in Zion, Cedar Breaks, Escalante/Grand Staircase..., Whitewater rafting on the Sevier River in Marysvale, Ski in Brian Head, fish at one of many surrounding lakes, ATV/snowmobile on the vast Piute trails throughout UT or simply relax and enjoy the great outdoors & the wildlife. Still not enough, spelunking, mountain biking, rock climbing & repelling should get the juices flowing!
