One of only 8 Strand-front cottages in this complex of 550 units AND 1 OF ONLY 4 UNITS IN THE COMPLEX ON THE VASTLY SUPERIOR 2nd STORY UNITS IN FRONT OF STRAND. From the 2nd/top floor you have a much better view AND you are not at eye level while enjoying a glass of wine with every person walking by on the Strand. You have all of the people-watching benefits and none of the drawbacks! Conveniently close to beach showers to was that sand off your self and beach toys!

Welcome to Villa Mia our home-away-from home at the beach. This is a comfy and homey 2nd story "cottage" unit (walk up to 2nd level with a landing half way) North Coast Village "A" building oasis, directly at the corner of the Strand and Breakwater Way (Google it to get a "feel" for the location). Being on the 2nd story lets you be at the heart of the beach action and people watch until your hearts content! Let the pounding of the surf lull you to sleep.

We have owned and managed many rental units in Southern California including 4 in North Coast Village! Villa Mia, named after my eldest daughter, is one of our favorites!

Why David Keshavjee chose Oceanside

You cant get much closer to the beach! If you like to people watch (but not be too close-as with the ground floor units), then this is your condo. The Strand is Oceanside's equivalent of a boardwalk that accommodates both pedestrian and vehicular (one-way only) traffic. In the summer it can be packed with people walking, cruising in their cars or on 4-person surrey-top rental bikes or it can be relatively empty as the sun goes down and the beach crowds go home. In the off-season it is traveled much less frequently, mostly by the occasional vehicular tourist and the locals who live along the Strand. MAINLY, THOUGH, THE VIEWS OF THE BEACH AND THE PIER ARE UNPARALLELED!

One of the best beach views available in the entire NCV complex - one of only 4 units out of 550 in the complex that has 2nd story views of the beach and that is located on the world famous Oceanside Strand!

Relaxing, ideal location, gorgeous rental

This unit has everything you need for a relaxing beach stay. Gorgeously decorated, all of the amenities and new appliances, this owner makes sure guests are very comfortable. Corner, second floor unit directly on the beach is the best location in the complex. Cleaning service, checkout was a breeze. Had no problems, only a great time. Highly recommend.

Loved unit but..... construction Again this year.

We should have been warned of the loud noise from Rock moving pipe across whole beach. So loud had to keep windows shut. Had to drive to different beach.

Very nice BUT not exactly what you may think...

It is a lovely condo on the older side but comfy. I do think that everyone should know that you look right out on the public bathrooms, not the lovely beach which you go there thinking you are going to see. We looked past that and were very happy to just be on the beach.

Nice-ish unit, onerous rules, view lacked appeal, still awaiting deposit

The unit is clean, and has some damage that is typical of any home that near to saltwater: totally rusty screen door, rusty bar b q, door hardware that should have a better fit and finish. All in all, the damage and wear was minimal. Kitchen was very nice.

Rules basically scream don't stay here if you have family or friends in town that you may want to have over for dinner. Max occupants is capped at 6 total "including children". Violation = ejection. Which meant we could not invite the family of 4 we traveled with to have dinner at our place with the 4 of us. We also lived in San Diego for 4 years, and could not have many of our friends over for a visit, forcing us to drive to them. So, if you're coming down without knowing a soul, you may be in business, but I was borderline offended by the rule. Another rule posted in several places is that the tenants must clean the grill immediately upon use, or be subject to an additional cleaning fee. Grill has not-insignificant amount of rust on it, so we neither used nor cleaned said grill; and the pessimist in me half expects to be hit with a grill cleaning fee. Vertical blinds in ocean front bedroom is falling apart. A couple of slats were found in the closet. I own rentals of my own and replacing these would take about 45 minutes, a drill, and screwdriver (includes drive to HD.) result: no privacy in the master bedroom...

On arrival, workers hooked up a large pipe in the middle of the beach directly in front of the unit. Said pipe bilged black water costantly for the rest of the trip. Not exactly paradise, not in owner's control, but it pretty much zeroed out the concept of renting a place on the beach.

Owner holds damage deposit for weeks after trip. Still waiting on $. A portion of my satisfaction will hinge upon knowing that I will receive full funds since no damage was caused, but I was warned by HomeAway that time to review was running out, so here we go.

Grounds and pool are well maintained. HOA staff and security are friendly. NCV is a pretty good complex. TVs in unit are nice, but bedroom cable box and cords are just hanging loose- not a very professional presentation.

We may stay at NCV again, but only if we can have civilized visitation with our friends. The price was fair. If the "no more than 6 in the unit at any given moment" rule is a NCV rule, then we will seek future accommodation elsewhere. Not exactly disappointed in total, but certainly not impressed.

Absolutely love this condo and location!

Our family of 6 has been coming to Oceanside for the past 5 years or so. This was the first time we stayed in this condo. It was absolutely amazing! We loved being right by the ocean and hearing the waves all day and night. The condo is very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Plenty of space for everyone. David Keshavee was excellent and easy to work with. He always responded to my texts very quickly. We had no problems with anything during our stay at his place and we will definitely be staying here again! Loved it! Thanks David!

Oceanside is a great town central to all San Diego county has to offer. Also, as it is close to the border of Orange County, it is convenient to LAX, Disneyland, Hollywood, etc.
