About Karin Greene-Thomas
We bought this house to live in all year round, but now we reside in California and we would love others to enjoy it as well.
Karin Greene-Thomas purchased this House in 2007
Why Karin Greene-Thomas chose Town of Southampton
This house is not only totally modern, clean and beautiful, but it has everything you could ever need for a wonderful vacation. The location is absolutely perfect as you can get to either town or the beach in 5 minutes.
What makes this House unique
We are set on 3.7 acres of which 2 acres are totally fenced in, perfect for dogs. The house also has extensive decking and patios for entertaining and a children's playground to keep them happy. The house is extremely quiet and relaxing, but still just 2 miles from town to make for a fun vacation. The house couldn't be in a better location. It is right in between town and the beach. Just a very short drive to either one.

We had a great time at the house! Kids love the back yard and we had everything we needed. The house is clean and the kitchen was full with everything we needed. The owner is very nice with positive attitude and answered all our needs very quickly. Will defiantly go back and will recommend friends and family!
Thank you Nomi, please come back anytime.
Perfect Location in The Hamptons
We rented this property for a 4-day weekend to attend an amazing wedding, but we enjoyed the property so much that at times we forgot we were here for the wedding.
The house was great - comfortable and extremely well provisioned, and located such that going almost anywhere was just a brief trip. It is literally a mile to Sag Harbor town and just 10 minutes to Sagg (ocean) Beach. The backyard is huge (around 3 acres) and fully fenced in, providing a sense of complete privacy, as well as comfort, given two separate seating areas plus a fire pit down below. The kitchen is beautiful and well-equipped as well. The roomy master suite is terrific, with a sizable bathroom and a killer Kohler-equipped shower. The Wolfer Estate vineyard is literally 3 minutes away and is fantastic! We would definitely consider renting here again.
Extremely clean, welcoming, and easily accessible to great parts of town. Highly recommend!
A group of 8 of us stayed here for the long weekend and we were very impressed with this place. It was clean, spacious, and in a very convenient location. Would definitely come back.
Great holiday Home!
Clean home, very comfortable and kid friendly. Great location! Would definitely come back
Very well kept and central!
Great yard, large house and super quiet. Just by the Wölffer wine estate!
Amazing house for family vacation!
Karin's house is perfect for families as mentioned in all other reviews. It's great for a getaway, she even converted the office into an additional bedroom for us. Also regarding beach parking passes, Sagg Main Beach is perfect during the week and on the weekends we'd recommend Mecox beach (2 mins farther out). Amazing trip!
Thanks Morgan, I'm glad you had a good time. And good tip about the beach. Thanks
Over two hundred years ago, Sag Harbor was a thriving whaling town and bustling seaport, New York’s original entryway. Two centuries later, the historic 18th and 19th century homes of this quaint village, on the South Fork of Long Island, whisper tales of men at sea and Revolutionary times. The whaling and cargo ships that long ago lined the harbor have been replaced by the delicate masts of modern sailboats and private yachts. The narrow village streets are dotted with trendy boutiques, antique shops and restaurants serving some of the area’s finest international cuisine.
Long known as a “writers’ colony,” Sag Harbor has been a haven for celebrated authors such as James Fenimore Cooper, John Steinbeck and E.L. Doctorow. Still today, it provides a charming backdrop for actors and weekenders, novelists and playwrights alike, who as one New York Times writer put it, “would rather work on their latest book-in-progress than their tans.”
In Sag Harbor, you’ll discover the best of both worlds. You’ll find a unique blending of old and new, with historic homes and modern, million-dollar-plus mega mansions each vying for your attention.
This storybook village lies between the villages of East Hampton and Southampton, and is just a short drive to Montauk, the very tip of Long Island. In Sag Harbor, both calm and activity coexist. You’ll feel like you’ve landed in a New England fishing village, but you’re within walking distance of many out-of-the-ordinary shops, great dining and stimulating night life. You’re also just a short drive away from challenging golf courses, East End wineries, and ocean beaches.
