Very good time!
Great location! Beautiful well equipped kitchen. Fireplace was great at night!
Only 2 wine glasses and not enough forks but we loved the house
Beautiful, wooded home with huge fenced yard
We really enjoyed our stay in Sag Harbor. We were there for Christmas with the family and it was a great time. The house has a well-equipped kitchen with double ovens, lots of counter space, and a fantastic dining table. The kitchen was perfect for making dozens and dozens of Christmas cookies! The biggest perk, though, was the generous backyard. It is the largest fenced yard I've ever seen with lots of room to run and play (especially with the dog). Even in cold, rainy December without using the grill or huge patio, we had a wonderful time outside. It must be an absolute delight during the summer season and I hope we have a chance to see it in its full summertime glory.
A wonderful break from the city!
We absolutely loved our stay! Sadly, the weather didn't cooperate as much as we had hoped, so we didn't get to sit on the deck very much. The house is very comfortable and well appointed though, and a very easy drive into Sag Harbor. We will be back!
Karin was very responsive, thorough and helpful. The house had all the amenities we needed and is centrally located in Sag Harbor. We headed to Sagg Main beach one day (ocean) and Havens beach the next (bay). It’s down the street from town and about 15minutes away from the orchard in Southampton for apple picking with the kids. Would definitely stay here again.
Clean with spacious backyard and everything you need
The owner of the property was responsive, professional and kind. The home was very well maintained and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Great property- fun for children and adults
Would stay here again! Great location and very comfortable home. Well stocked with appliances and utensils and anything you would have or need
Thanks Amy, I hope you come back again, we would love to have you anytime.
Over two hundred years ago, Sag Harbor was a thriving whaling town and bustling seaport, New York’s original entryway. Two centuries later, the historic 18th and 19th century homes of this quaint village, on the South Fork of Long Island, whisper tales of men at sea and Revolutionary times. The whaling and cargo ships that long ago lined the harbor have been replaced by the delicate masts of modern sailboats and private yachts. The narrow village streets are dotted with trendy boutiques, antique shops and restaurants serving some of the area’s finest international cuisine.
Long known as a “writers’ colony,” Sag Harbor has been a haven for celebrated authors such as James Fenimore Cooper, John Steinbeck and E.L. Doctorow. Still today, it provides a charming backdrop for actors and weekenders, novelists and playwrights alike, who as one New York Times writer put it, “would rather work on their latest book-in-progress than their tans.”
In Sag Harbor, you’ll discover the best of both worlds. You’ll find a unique blending of old and new, with historic homes and modern, million-dollar-plus mega mansions each vying for your attention.
This storybook village lies between the villages of East Hampton and Southampton, and is just a short drive to Montauk, the very tip of Long Island. In Sag Harbor, both calm and activity coexist. You’ll feel like you’ve landed in a New England fishing village, but you’re within walking distance of many out-of-the-ordinary shops, great dining and stimulating night life. You’re also just a short drive away from challenging golf courses, East End wineries, and ocean beaches.
