Great weekend retreat in the mountains.

  • 5 of 5

Charming house on the hillside. Had everything we needed for the weekend. Lots of kitchenware for cooking, large dining table. Great record collection for relaxing evenings, hot tub and a rooftop patio with amazing views. Was very clean with two full baths.

Quaint and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Very nice place with great view of the mountains. Easy access to Hwy 9 and just a couple miles north of Silverthorne. Didn't do a lot of cooking but the kitchen was well-equipped and made use of the laundry facilities. Very nicely furnished and the hot tub was a great finisher for the days after hiking and biking. Spiral staircase to get up and down the multi-level house might be an issue for some people, but we enjoyed climbing up to the rooftop patio watching the sun set over the mountains to the west. Would highly recommend and gladly stay there again in the future.

Beautiful!!

  • 5 of 5

This place has it all!!! The views from the living room are nothing short of stunning! The rooftop deck is great for taking in the views after a morning hike. The overall atmosphere of the house is very relaxing and enjoyable. The location is perfect...close to anything you may need but also remote enough to feel like you're "off the grid". Brian was super easy to work with and very accommodating!

Oh and they have a vinyl record player with awesome choices!!

You'll have no regrets if you choose to stay here!

A great place to spend a ski vacation

  • 4 of 5

We spent the week between Christmas and New Year's at this property with our two children, who are in their early 20's. Brian, the owner, was highly responsive throughout the rental process. The mountain views are as advertised, and the afternoon sun was a welcome sight through the front windows after a brisk day skiing on the mountain. The hot tub was really convenient off of the main level of the house, and it also got some good sun in the afternoon. An added bonus was the extensive vinyl record collection and turntable, with a wide-ranging selection of music from the 70's and 80's that was a real treat for all of us.

The house is not a luxury rental, but it is quite comfortable for a group of up to 6 people. The kitchen had all the needed utensils, and we cooked at the house on several nights. The house could use some routine maintenance in several areas once the weather gets warmer, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Owner's Response: Thanks very much Andrew. Glad you had a great stay at the house. We'll be doing our annual maintenance in April after ski season, as well as upgrading the house in numerous areas. Glad you liked the vinyl records too!
