Delightful owners and apartment

  • 4 of 5

The accommodation is exactly as it is shown in the photographs and full of lovely family photographs and ornaments. We were only there for 4 nights and so ate out each day apart from enjoying coffee/croissants each morning. If you did wish to cook then everything which you would need is to hand. It is a charming apartment and Stefania's dad (Maurizio) told us a little of its history which was lovely. Thanks to you and your wife for taking the time to do this, He also recommended Jasmine around the corner - once again, thank you, Maurizio as we ate there twice and would probably have dined there for a third time but it was their evening off! Should we ever come back to Rome then this would be the first place we would try to book. The 6 flights of stairs to the apartment plus sightseeing on foot ensured that we lost weight despite eating such lovely food and drinking lots of prosecco and bellinis, haha. Thank you for a lovely stay. Pauline & John. :-) xx

Absolutely Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

This was mine and my partners second visit to this apartment and again it never failed to deliver on anything. Stefania responds to all emails as soon as possible and always provides excellent advice. We were met on arrival at the apartment by Stefania's parents who were the most lovely people you could ever wish to meet. It was our joint 50th Birthdays this year and Stefania even left 2 little gifts for us, Champagne and biscuits which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. I am missing the view of St Peter's Dome already, stunning. Everything that you could wish to need was in the apartment, it was like a home from home. We will certainly be going back for another visit and have recommended the apartment to friends and family. Thank you all for another memorable stay. x

Perfect place for a couple to visit Rome

  • 5 of 5

The listing was very accurate and the booking process was easy. We were asked to pay cash on arrival which is what we did and found the accommodation good value for it's location. And what a balcony view!! A ten minute walk will get you to St Peter's Square and on our last morning we got there for 7.45am and walked straight in to the Basilica without queueing!

There is a bus stop right outside the apartment and at least 3 different buses will take you over the Tiber river and into the heart of Rome within 10-15 minutes depending on the traffic. And the mainline railway is just a 7 minute walk away (where Ariel met us on arrival) so we took the train with one change to and from the airport in about an hour. There is also a good supermarket for groceries one minute from the flat stocking everything you might need. Stefania also booked us some skip the line tickets for the Vatican and Coleusseum before leaving the UK which was very helpful. All in all a great trip and would definitely recommend the property

Comfortable apartment with great hosts

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Stefania’s apartment. The booking was easy and swift, despite the fact that we made it very last-minute: all questions answered, confirmation received very promptly, for which we are especially thankful to Stefania’s father, Mr Andreani. On our arrival we were met by Mr Andreani and Stefania’s agent, Ariel, who kindly helped us with the luggage up the stairs and gave us a thorough explanation about everything in and about the apartment.

We found the apartment cosy, clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Wi-fi, which seems to be the latest addition, worked just fine, with stable connection and sufficient speed. The apartment has really everything one might need: from ironing board to various cleaning solutions to different kitchen utensils etc. The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking very easy, whether it’s three meals a day or just an espresso to enjoy on the little balcony with a glorious view of St.Peter’s cupola. For the latter option check Il Papagallo Bar (3-minute walk to the centre) for delicious desserts to take away.

The area around the apartment is nice - very safe and quiet enough. Though there’s always some traffic on the nearest street (Via di Gregorio VII), we still managed to sleep with the windows open.

And the hosts can’t be valued highly enough. They really did their best to make us feel at home, and were always available and eager to help every time we needed their advice or assistance. We felt very comfortable and welcome. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights. The whole booking process was brilliant with Stefania and her Father responding to emails very quickly. Ariel who met us upon arrival was great, he shown us all around the apartment and how to work all the electricals and even where the nearest market for food etc. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the view to St Peters at night was spectacular. We run our own business so the wi-fi was very helpful. Everything that was in the description was correct. There was a lovely restaurant within 5 minutes walking distance Osteria dei Pontefici which we went to every evening. I would certainly recommend this apartment to friends and family and will certainly be returning in the very near future. Thank you Stefania, your Father and Ariel, we had a great holiday and have some wonderful memories.
