Here’s why this is the best deal on Maui: My unit is on the first floor. This means you walk out the door—and you’re on a lawn that slopes gently down to the ocean—some 100 feet away. Further, I’m on the far end of the complex, so you’re almost always alone if you want to spend time in the sun: The pool, Jacuzzi, and BBQ pits are on the other end of the complex.

Think of it! You come to Maui for peace & renewal, on the one hand, and easy access to every activity, on the other hand. That’s exactly what you’ll get in my condo.

At a really reasonable price.

The other listings explain what Maalaea has to offer. It’s a central location, yet quiet and restful. The perfect place for a single or couple.

Here are the nuts and bolts: fully equipped kitchen and bath; A/C; clean, comfortable furnishings; washer/dryer; dishwasher; WiFi; big-screen TV; stuff you need for the beach (beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, boogie board); plenty of parking.

Easy 20-minute drive to the airport.

P.S. For reservations for fewer than 5 days, I ask renters to split the fixed costs with me (i.e., cleaning, key service, and insurance). It amounts to just over $140, so I add $70 to rentals of 3 or 4 days. Thanks for understanding!

What makes this condo unique

I love that I can step outside my living room, plop down on a lounge chair, and read & relax--and get plenty of sun. And I'm usually alone.

In the mornings, I jog along Maalaea Beach.

It's just a little piece of paradise.

Great Location

Best location on the island. Close to everywhere, yet out of the crowds and quiet.  Walk out the door into the ocean, couldn't have a better view.  Amazed by the numbet of turtles.  Very well stocked and great communication by owner.

Waimea condo

Lovely, quiet getaway. Perfectly placed between Kaanapali and Waialea, and close to the airport. Loved the public beach park at the end of the street that was always quiet and just a short walk away. The nearby little town of Paia and its world class grocery, Mana Foods, is worth a trip to stock up the full size fridge in the condo kitchen. Would love to see a new king size bed to replace the older queen; otherwise, a perfect retreat.

Peaceful beachfront condo off the beaten touristy path

The condo had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was conveniently located in a very quiet neighborhood. This was my favorite feature. It was so peaceful. There were beautiful sunrises and turtles hang on the beach right out your front door.

The only downfall was the locks on both doors and the air conditioner could use updating. We enjoyed our stay. Mahalo

Amazing and Relaxing stay

Our one week stay at the David's (owner's) property was amazing. David was very prompt (within couple of hours) with responses which greatly helped in our last minute reservation at this property. David also provided clear instructions for smooth checkin/checkout process.

The property is located away from the touristy spots (Lahaina and Kihue) which we really appreciated. There are no grocery stores or restaurants near by but we were fine driving to these places. This corner ground floor unit is quiet and we were able to sleep to the beautiful sound of the ocean waves each night. The location made it ideal for us to circumnavigate either western or eastern side of Maui. Though the beach immediately outside of this unit is rocky, it has lots of turtles to ogle at and is rarely busy. We really enjoyed the less crowded white sandy beach at Haycraft Park which was a 5 minute walk from the unit and mostly visited by locals. We passed on the complex pool as it looked a little murky.

The unit was clean and well maintained. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances, utensils and amenities. In-unit washer and drier were a bonus. We were pleasantly happy to find and use the beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, snorkeling gear, small cooler that was present in the property.

Our experience with David and his property was exceptional and we will be sure to contact him again when we visit Maui in the future.
