Good place for a family
This was a good stay for our family: kids loved the attic, there were also some books for kids to read. The place is a bit worn out, however, it felt cozy and owners were very quick to respond and assist with any inquiries we had - great communication!
Beautiful photos in profile but property needs attention
The photos in this listing showed a colorful , charming home with an eclectic vibe - and it was all of that. If my review were based on the beautiful profile photos, the quick responses we received from our contact, Golda, and the clean, comfy beds alone, I would have given the property a 5-star review. But I simply can't ignore the many big and small details that were sub-par in this property. This house has so much potential, but needs some serious attention to detail. I would be happy to talk with the owner about our experience.

Nice house, not exactly as described
We visited in February, when the temperature was quite cold. This is definitely a cozy house and enjoyable house. It has a lovely gas fireplace, a healthy supply of hot water, and is overall clean and provides an enjoyable atmosphere. There are some clarifications I would make to the description of the house. There is quite the write up about the kitchen, which has a table (for 4) in the middle of it that is difficult to navigate around if there are actually 4 people sitting there, due to the style of chairs. Cookware is also in short supply. There was one small cutting board, one huge pot, one tiny pot, a few small frying pans, and an oven dish, but simple basics (or normal sized items) seemed to be missing (the abilities to easily cook for 8 people, let alone 10, as the house is advertised). The house says it sleeps ten, but we were 8 and it would not comfortably sleep more, as we were tight on space as it was (fold out sofa in the living room takes up pretty much the whole living room). The room with the queen bed in it by the front does not have a door, instead is just closed off by a hanging curtain. This is not advertised anywhere that I saw, and the lack of privacy was a bit of a downer when already in close quarters with others. There were, at most, I think 7 chairs in the house, which meant for meals that someone sat on the floor or the exercise ball from the gym. We were a little frustrated by the lack of toilet paper (I believe there were 2-3 rolls for our weeklong stay) and a complete lack of dish soap. Overall, I do feel like this is a nice house and that the description was just a little misleading. It was clean, comfortable and well cared for. The host WAS immediately responsive when we did reach out with questions, and I feel like, in all fairness, they would have sorted out most of these issues for us should we have reached out.
Nice vacation stay close to downtown
Check-in experience was very smooth. We were shown the rooms and the facilities available. Had a very comfortable stay
