This remodeled condo on the ground floor has easy access from parking, in and out of the unit and has handrails in the bathroom and shower. As close to the beach as you can get and not get sand on your feet. That's how we feel when we are sitting on the lanai. This beautiful ground floor, accessible condo has a view of Wailua Bay . When our guests see the view for the first time they remark, 'Wow, that's just beautiful!'.
Sit on the lanai with your favorite beverage and watch the sun set over the bay and mountains. Our condo is convenient to the free parking, our beautiful pool AND the beach. Our beach is one of the best on the island. It is great for snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing or even fishing. We also have a lava rock wall protected and shallow swim area for children and those just wanting to get their feet wet.
Our condo complex, Lae nani, is The Jewel of The Coconut Coast. Our tropical gardens and lawn are just beautiful and garner praise from the guests, too. You can see from the photos that our grounds have the feel of True Hawaii.
We are close to The Coconut Marketplace for shopping, dining and entertainment. Within 2 blocks are several very good restaurants, Japanese, Mexican, Thai, Korean BBQ and more. There are two supermarkets only a 1/2 mile from the condos as well as more restaurants. Sleeping Giant mountain is just behind the condos with hiking and the Wailua River is very close where you can kayak to Secret Falls. While we are only 10 minutes from the airport, there is no plane noise because the jets land and takeoff over the ocean.
Lae nani is centrally located. The North side of the island with Hanalei Bay and the Kalalau Trail and the South side of the island where the boat tours originate are both only a short and beautiful drive away.
Plan enough time on Kauai to see all that the island has to offer. We have a lot of activities for such a small island. We can help you with your activities while on the island.

This condo is great for people who, for whatever reason, cannot navigate steps. There is level pavement from parking to the condo. Renovated to accommodate an owner in a wheelchair, this condo is perfect for people not able or wanting to use stairs.

This is **THE** place to stay on Kauai! We spent 12 days here in June '13 in unit #323. The property alone could be a tourist attraction! The entire grounds are a beautifully maintained botanical garden with stunning plants, flowers and trees everywhere! The condo complex is just the right size with a huge open lawn right on the beach. And, you don't have the HUGE crowds of the big commercial resorts. Many times we were on the beach, lawn and pool all by ourselves. This east side of location on Kauai has many benefits compared to the north and south locales: 1) it's much cheaper - accommodations, restaurants, groceries; 2) it's less touristy and crowded; and 3) you're more centrally located on the island to hit all the great spots with a short drive. Some east side locations can be windy, but Lae Nani is in a protected cove (look at Google maps image). It was great to have a full kitchen to cut down on eating expenses and it has an amazing view of the grounds and ocean. I don't know why people pay so much for a 'resort' hotel room when you can have a complete condo for less! An added benefit of this place is that it's completely gated so you don't have to worry about roosters making it hard to sleep (a well-known Kauai problem). Most units here are privately owned, so the condition will depend on the owner. Our unit was perfectly nice & clean . I would definitely stay there again - the price, locale and amenities are fantastic! P.S. There's a great, paved cycling path on the east coast and you can rent bikes in Wailua/Kapaa. And, a kayak trip up the Wailua river to the falls is a must!
We stayed here for a week in December. The condo is managed by Kauai Condo Vacations and was well provisioned with sufficient pots & pans, salt, pepper and sugar and some beach towels. The condo is a 1 bedroom, 2 bath. (An older review is misleading about this being a 2 bedroom). The bedroom had enough free space to fit in a pack-and-play for our toddler. The rest of place was also very spacious.
The best part of staying there was the small keiki (kiddie) pool at the beach. Children all the way up to 7 years played in that area, but there were never too many to make it feel crowded.The other benefit was the beautiful lawn out front. Again, perfect for toddlers and young kids to run around without needing too much supervision. They have a pool in this area, but it is fully protected and requires a key to get in, so no risk of the kids accessing the pool unsupervised.
The location of the property is great, only a few minutes from a Safeway and a Longs Drugs, which makes stocking up on groceries easy. It is walking distance to Coconut Marketplace that has restaurants, a farmers market and shops.
The only issues we had were with the kitchen supplies. The cookware were mostly pots and pans that were all non-stick and very scratched up, it would be better to switch to stainless steel and keep some Barkeeper's Friend around to clean it easily. Also there were almost no containers with lids to store food, which was a little inconvenient. Using the bakeware with Seran-Wrap solved the issue. Overall, the property was great and we would go back.
We were a little concerned about renting a unit that was right next to the pool, because we thought it might be too noisy or have too much foot traffic. But when we were there, there were very few children around and virtually no noise or traffic. It was so convenient being just steps away from the pool and the ocean. The unit is very nicely decorated, recently renovated. It was a little musty when we arrived -- think it had been closed up for a few days -- but it was fine after we got the fans going and circulated the air. The location on the island is great, too -- near some fabulous restaurants in Kaapa, and a short drive to the up-scale resort areas. The kitchen was pretty well-stocked in terms of dishes, pots and pans, and small appliances, but had virtually nothing in the cupboards -- not even salt and pepper. Otherwise, we loved unit #113 and would happily stay there again.

roomy and comfortable ,it was home for 15 days . Centrally located closed to Kappa so was easy to travel to both side of island . quiet, gated, private,hidden location. will be back and maybe 3 weeks next time.
Lae Nani is a beautiful ocean side resort. It has 5 buildings, but they are fairly spread out so it isn't crowded at all, lots of green space. This unit was recently renovated and is absolutely beautiful. Everything has been upgraded, from the kitchen to the bathrooms. We did not use the second bedroom, but the king size bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The washer/dryer (although not new) was a nice bonus to have in the unit. The unit is large and is well laid out. Our only complaint would be that the living room furniture, although new, appears to be an outside patio set and is not all that comfortable for relaxing in the evening. I would not hesitate to stay in this condo again if we needed a two bedroom unit.
Lae nani condos is conveniently located on the East side of the island. Activities, shopping and restaurants are only minutes away.
