You and the kids will love it!! Put your feet up and relax. Vacation in a rustic log home on Lake LBJ. Located on a quite street in with large Oak trees, upper and lower covered decks with lots of seating, a boat slip (22 foot boat or smaller will fit best), a large yard with fire pit, and a propane grill for your use.

This log home can accommodate 6-8 people.

On the first floor there is a bedroom with a queen-size bed. There is also a full bathroom with shower, a fully furnished kitchen, dinning area, and living area with a 50 inch HDTV for your enjoyment. Off the living room there is a covered deck to enjoy the outdoors.

The second level features a master bedroom with a king size bed and an attached bath with tub/shower. There is an additional bedroom with bunk beds. An air bed is also included for extra guests. In addition, the upstairs has a loft with 50 inch flat screen TV, leather couch and chair for reading and watching TV. There is a balcony that overlooks the large yard.

You may launch your boat in our neighborhood's private boat ramp and tie up in the provided boat slip at the home's rear lot. Lake LBJ is the only constant level lake in the Texas Hill Country, and it offers water skiing, jet skiing, tubing, and has an abundance of fish for that fisherman in the family.

You are required to have a minimum stay of two (2) nights at $300.00 per day for six guests. Please note there is a minimum stay of three (3) nights at $350.00 per day for six guests on holiday weekends (Labor Day, Independence Day, and Memorial Day). There is an additional charge of $25.00/day per person for guests over 6. A non-refundable damage deposit of $59.00 is required, prepay by credit card. NO SMOKING AND NO PETS. Home has towels, sheets and all bedding, a fully furnished kitchen, washer and dryer, fire pit, large yard, boat slip ideal for 22’ boat, community boat ramp for ingress and egress, two HDTV’s, wireless internet service with modem, and two hot water heaters (one 50 gallon and the other 40 gallons) for plenty of hot water. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE YARD EXCEPT DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE GARAGE DOOR BECAUSE WE WANT TO MAINTAIN THE LAWN AND SPRINKLERS.

Any violations of these rules constitute an immediate eviction without refund.

Nice but problematic

Little log cabin on the lake was quaint. The property is pretty and had lots of deer. They even walked right up to the house. The biggest issue we had was with the boat dock. The boat dock is manageable, but difficult to maneuver. The close proximity to the neighbor's docked pontoon boat makes it difficult to get in and out of the boat slip. The canal has a large granite rock that also makes it tricky. Bring your patience and bumpers

We had a lot of issues with the appliances. The first day we were there the inside and outside refrigerators did not work. The washing machine was temperamental and it was a challenge to wash one load of clothes. The owner was quick to respond to all of our calls and tried his best to resolve the issues, however by day 3 we were tired of dealing with appliance issues.

A cute little lake house with very nice outdoor space

We had a very nice stay at 401 Lake Point. It's a great place to vacation with family and very close to the lake. I would note that it's actually not right on the lake but a short walk down from the porch. The hosts are nearby and very helpful. It would have been nice, however to have an extra roll of paper towels on hand as well as toilet paper. That way we wouldn't have had to bother the host. The downside to this property would be that it doesn't have a dishwasher and the inside living space is pretty small although there are two separate living spaces. The kitchen is very well stocked with just about everything you might need . We really enjoyed the patio by the boat slip and having lake access and there are plenty of tables and chairs for everyone to gather around outside. Unfortunately, the water right off the boat slip is not that great for swimming, it's quite shallow and sludgy so you have to get out into the lake to enjoy a swim. The deer are very friendly, at one point I counted 25 in the yard. Perhaps a little too friendly, though, as they dragged a bag of trash all over the street one night!

Fabulous cabin and very friendly hosts!

Our family had a great time at this property. The cabin is nicely stocked with everything you need. Indoor space is cozy and outdoor space is amazing with upper and lower decks, deer all over the property and the lake just a few feet away. Very nice host also came by to check and make certain we got in o.k. and had everything we needed. A great stay! Thank you!

Excellent Waterfront Home

We had a wonderful time at this home. Everything was exactly as described, and very clean. There were also many White tailed deer (native to the area), we really enjoyed the quite neighborhood.

We stayed at this property for the July 4th weekend and was just right for 6 of us.

The property was well maintained and suited our family of 6 just fine. The neighborhood deer visited often and we enjoyed feeding them fresh berries. Having easy access to our boat was an added benefit. The owners were very responsive. Great space.
