We purchased this home last fall, and plan to rent the house until such time as we retire! So until then you and your family can enjoy it as much as we do in the summer months!!
Ryan purchased this Cabin in 2012
Why Ryan chose Camp Ellis
There nothing better then falling asleep to the sound of the waves

Is a very nice rustic beach cottage, great view and location, we had a great week
Great oceanfront location. Beautiful view
Enjoyed the property. Cottage is exactly what you would expect from an older cottage in this area. Can't beat the location. We would stay here again.
Relaxing to waves and sand !
Our first stay here in Camp Ellis, and won't be the last! Spacious oceanfront home, with room for all ! Bedrooms all upstairs, lots of beds, 2 full baths, one up one downstairs with an outdoor shower the kids loved ! Quick walk to beach along sandy path. Ryan the property manager was very accommodating and only a call away when our refrigerator had an issue, In which he immediately rectified with a brand new one !!. The house had everything you would need, enough dishes, coffee pot, blender:), outdoor/beach chairs. We brought our own linens but looks like you can pay extra and have them provide. So many activities in the area for all ages. We ate out at some local places, also did some take out and a few meals we even cooked ! We would definitely recommend this place !
Thank you very much for your comments and we are so glad you enjoyed our home as much as we do! Hopefully you get to enjoy it again in the future!
I stayed from Friday to Monday (June 13 to 16) with my fiancee. I rented the house to celebrate our anniversary and it turned out to be her birthday celebration instead! There are so many beds! Make sure you bring your own sheets and pick up some paper plates and plastic cups. I also recommend plastic utensils because it makes everything that much easier. The kitchen was nice and the layout of the whole place was well suited. There was a hammock on the porch. There are so many chairs on the porch for you to choose from. I saw a kayak under the house, but wasn't sure how to get to it. The fire pit was great! I'm not sure if that was intended or if someone just built it with the surrounding rocks. The view was wonderful. You could hear the waves crash against the rocks at high tide and you can take a stroll down the ocean path to access the beach. In you enter the water directly in front of the house (at low tide), you will walk for a ways before the water level rises (as to be expected in New England). But, if you walk down to the beach at high tide, you can expect a pretty dramatic drop off (again, for New England) with a pretty powerful surf. There's a gas grill on the back porch and an outdoor shower to wash away the salt water (if you're daring enough to go in).
There was a little misunderstanding with the checkout time. The cleaning service showed up an hour earlier than my lease said and she waited there in the driveway until we left.
Long weekend fun
We rented this awesome house for a 4 day weekend in may. I would definitely stay again..The house is nice and spacious we had 6 adults and 2 babies, enough room for pack and play cribs for both babies.
The house has everything you need to have a great lobster feast minus the lobsters of course, a great fire pit to relax outside, plenty of private parking, high speed internet, cable tv if you need it for a rainy day, washer and dryer, fish right off the rocks during high tide, plenty of room at the kitchen table and everything you need to cook there including a grill on the porch.
There is a convenience store 2 streets over where you can get anything you need (food, beer, wine, things you forgot, breakfast, dinner, lobsters, wood, ice cream and souvenirs) .About a 1/2 mile down the road is the mouth of saco river where you can do some fishing or grab some food at houts or wormwood restaurant. 30 minute drive to portland, Old orchard Beach is a three mile drive down the street, everyone is really friendly in the camp Ellis area. Can't wait to come back next year
Outstanding ... Great to fall asleep to the sound of the waves hitting the beach!
We are located directly on the beach! You'll love the convenience we have to go to and from the house to the beach...
