With upscale granite/stainless kitchen. Large bathrooms with gorgeous showers and vanities. The basement is perfect for unwinding complete with big screen tv, bar area, pool table and screened in porch. You and your family/friends can truly enjoy the peaceful quality of the lake from this gorgeous home. Lake Lanier Islands is less than and hour away. Dahlonega is less than 30 minutes away if you are in the mood for a little wine tasting.

Come relax and enjoy the lake from our beautiful lakefront house, nestled on a shady and wooded lot, gently sloped with easy walking to the boat dock. Awaken to the most amazing sunrises and enjoy the magnificent fall views. Our ample yet cozy six bedroom lake house comfortably sleeps 16 in beds.

Awesome family gathering spot!

This was our second stay at this spacious, immaculate lake house. I love all the glass opening to the lake and the woods, and the eclectic style that creates a very comfortable environment. The open floor plan and gourmet kitchen and dining area were perfect for our large family. The big screen TV's, pool table and hot tub give you plenty of additional activities, if you want a break from the lake activities. The walk to the lake is steep, but they have an optional road that allows you to drive straight to the dock to unload. And the dock is on a quiet cove, which is tough to find in busy season on beautiful Lake Lanier. On the next visit, we hope to rent a pontoon boat and cruise around.

Beautiful large home on amazing Lanier.

Beautiful, large home on Chestatee area of Lanier. We would rent it again and it's perfect for a large group.

Pro's: High end appliances with large SubZero Frig and large Viking style gas range which is perfect for the chef in the family.. The home has a very open floor plan on main level. We had 12 Adults and the home was able to comfortably accommodate. Amazing Master BR / Bathroom on main level with large shower and laundry room of Master bath.. The downstairs is so cool with like 14' ceilings, pool table, small kitchen and 3 BR. Upstairs has 2 BR one being a large Room over Garage style with 2 Doubles and 2 twins so it's a great room for the kiddos.. Nice hot tub built into deck off main living area was nice. Great area of the lake with very low boat traffic.. We took our boat and enjoyed some nice skiing and wake boarding and appreciated the ability to use the nice dock. It has nice sunbathing area as well.

Con's: Nothing major but wanted to share.. The walk from home to lake is very steep. The home is about 500' or so from the lake. The nice thing is you can drive one street over and park right by the dock area for those that aren't up for the short but steep hike. Personally I liked the exercise.. Some of the beds could use some update as they were "rental quality". Gas Grill basically didn't work as the flame would only reach a very low heat at best.. The gas tank was full so hopefully so not sure what the issue was but hopefully that gets repaired / replaced because you are going to want to cook out.. Parking and the ability to come and go is a challenge.. The parking pad by front door accommodates 3 cars but others will need to park in the drive behind them so plan for this. We had peak of 6 cars..

Owner's Response: Thank you for your nice words but would like to add a few corrections and possibly some insight into this review. Walk to lake is average for our lake certainly not considered steep relative to most houses on the lake. please see photo The walk from the back porch to dock is 210 feet not the 500 feet it seemed to reviewer. Much closer than most on our lake We have updated bedding since your review thanks for the input. Your point was valid. Gas grill works fine but has been replaced since review Parking is fine for 6 cars see photo 4 on front porch pad and 2 on side / top of drive. By contract we allow no more than 6 cars. The reviewer / his guests made no effort to park in a way that would allow each car to exit without moving other vehicles. He or one of his guests drove on our manicured lawn and busted irrigation line. We are not sure if the reviewer's misrepresentation was intentional or he is just challenged with measurements. We did not take any of his deposit to repair irrigation system so we can only assume.

Christmas vacation

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful 'Lake House' !! Right away, we felt at home, with the amenities of the property and the hospitality shown by the managing company and owner !

We are looking forward to returning and enjoying a spring or fall in this wonderful setting.
