I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, but now live in Napa Valley and have for thirty-four years. As a child I spent many weekends visiting our family home in St. Helena.
owner purchased this Farmhouse in 1935
Why owner chose St Helena
This house has been in our family for over eighty years. The house was built in the 1880's and my great-uncle purchased it in 1935 from a historical Napa Valley wine family. People have always loved gathering at the St. Helena house and we want that to continue for generations to come.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
The wrap around porch has been the setting for many wonderful dinners over the years. Sitting on the porch eating and drinking wine, while at the same time looking over the vineyards along with the views of the eastern mountains - Priceless!

We loved the property. Very clean and new bathrooms. Kitchen well-stocked and fridge full of drinks. Right on a vineyard and literally a family's beloved property. Owner was great and communicative. I would definitely stay here again!
I stayed at this property with my family for my wedding weekend I’m st helena. The house was beyond what we expected. Full of charm, history, and stocked with so much necessities that a family could ask for.
This house made our wedding weekend so magical.
I got ready here with my bridesmaids on the upstairs sunroom, and it was like being in a romantic novel!
Loved this house so much, we recommend it!
Napa farmhouse charm!
This is a great farmhouse feel and beautiful property to relax and enjoy the beautiful Napa Valley. The owners were gracious and helpful going out of their way to make this a special trip. The screened in porch is a perfect place to gather for sunrises breakfasts.
I loved all the little spots on the property to gather for conversation or sit by yourself and read a book. I highly recommend this property to anyone heading to the Napa Valley!
We have stayed at many home rentals throughout the world and this was our best experience. We were provided information on the area prior to our arrival, tips on hiking and the ease of check-in. On top of that the house is fantastic, the kitchen has everything you will need and the refrigerator was stocked with drinks for our use! The only downside is that we were out most of the days and nights and were unable to more fully enjoy the property.
What a pleasure it was to stay at "The St Helena House" We were attending a wedding in St. Helena and it was a bit of a reunion with my kids and spouses, my husband and I. Everyone had a wonderful time and thought the house was absolutely perfect for the occasion. It is in a beautiful setting with areas to sit and admire the scenery and gather for games and conversation outside or on the beautiful wrap porch for morning coffee. Inside, everything is so homey and accommodating while updated and classy. Jim made everything so easy and we didn't want for anything. The kids were so pleased and commented repeatedly how perfect everything was. A repeat visit is definitely in order!!
What a wonderful home! The location was great - easy walk to town and great restaurants. Centrally located and easy to get to multiple wineries. The home was great, lots of areas to sit and visit both inside and outside. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were a nice touch. Jim was great - he gave us the history of the home and some great tips of places to go and places to eat. We would definitely stay here again!
We are located in the heart of Napa Valley close to the many wineries. In addition to wineries, Napa Valley has several world renown restaurants some of which are in walking distance from our house.
