Perfect price for clean and spacious near beach

Great location. The bike path was enjoyably breezy. Bed was great. Beautifully decorated surroundings. With three ceiling fans we never used the AC. Tim and Cathy were friendly and accommodating.

perfect getaway

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this lovely studio for 5 nights in January. It has everything you need and it is close to everything. It offers a quiet hideaway and then you can go and enjoy the waves and sun. We hope to stay here again!

Fantastic getaway in Sunset Beach

  • 4 of 5

We stayed 7 nights here and it was fun, Tim and Kathy were gracious hosts. The studio was great, it had everything you could need. The bed was comfy and the location is close to beaches shops and restaurants. The only negative was the air conditioner, it was very loud.

Owner's Response: My studio is one of the nicest, cleanest, least expensive places to stay very close to the beach. Unfortunately these folks came during our long hot and humid weather phase which is NOT normal. Most people don't use the A/C since we normally have very nice trade winds blowing at all times. If I had known it was loud I would have replaced it!

Amazing Sunset Apartment!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here 2 winters ago & it was the best apartment we've ever stayed in while on the North Shore. The owners are so nice & helpful & think of every little thing you might need while staying. Especially loved that bikes were included. It is VERY clean (no bugs AT ALL) & short walk to Sunset Beach & their adorable dog Pua will also join you when going to the beach's quite an experience! Close to Ted's and bike path is right there to hop on. It's on a quiet residential safe neighborhood street with a great feel of community. Doesn't even feel like a studio because of the room divider..Loved staying here!!

Feels like home at Sunset Beach!

  • 5 of 5

I came to drop my daughter off to BYU Hawaii and absolutely loved this little place! It's more spacious than typical studio apartments, very clean and I was very comfortable! The kitchen is equipped with anything you might need to make a simple breakfast, lunch or dinner. My daughter stayed a couple of nights with me as well and we both fell in love with their family dog, "Pua," who even accompanied us to the beach one morning. The beach is very close so I got to enjoy a morning and evening walk each day. The sunset is breathtaking! The apartment had some great books with awesome information about things to do and see on the island. We loved driving up and down the Kam highway, checking out beach after beach. Must see/do's: The sea turtles at Turtle Beach, the sunset at Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Ted's Bakery, the Thai food at Elephant Truck, roadside grilled corn, shave ice, the Banyan trees near Turtle Bay, Kahuku Grill, the PCC, zip line tour at Climb Works at Keana Farm, hiking Wailele Falls...and the list goes on and on. Cathy is a great lady with a great family and I enjoyed chatting with them during our comings and goings; friendly neighbors, as well. I will definitely book again if I am lucky enough to return to Hawaii. This little area feels very special and I feel really lucky to have found it. Thank you Shanley family! Hope we meet again!

Girls' Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely 5 day stay. The accomodations were perfect for the two of us. The studio was clean and spacious with everything that a traveler could need. The location was enjoyable! Lots of fun things to do nearby. We enjoyed lots of delicious restaurants. Jameson's by the Sea at sunset is a must. Lots of good shopping in nearby Haleiwa. :)
