Walkable & great for biking This neighborhood shines in Minneapolis for its natural beauty accompanied with incredible proximity to some of the city's premier attractions. Being equal in travel time (5 minute drive, 11 minute bike ride) to the Walker art center/Sculpture park and Cedar Lake Point Beach, its a unique blend of vibrancy and quietude. Hedged by parks and lakes the neighborhood retains much of its old charm and has small town feel with magnificent downtown views. Quiet and relaxing
Great house with craftsman style woodwork and hardwood floors. Very quiet even though it is located close to downtown. We very much enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends and family.
great to have you, thanks for staying. you are always welcome back
This is one cute house with everything you could need!
This house is amazing! So cute and the location was fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone!
Quaint Home with Two Bathrooms
My friend and I stayed at the property from July 31st - August 2nd. Usually, the weather would be extremely hot for these days, but the weather was great. I'm only stating this because we didn't experience what it would be like with the window a/c units in hot weather. The place is really really cute and Bryan does a great job having amenities available. The beds were soooo comfortable!! I'm surprised I left mine. We felt very comfortable in the neighborhood and even walked back from Target Field one night. The lakes are in close proximity and we visited a couple lakes while there. Bryan was great about answering questions in a very timely manner. There were some things that I asked about even though it was printed out on the "house info" paper when you first come in. Even though there were two of us, the two bathrooms were great for us, so we could take our time getting ready. The only downside was that the space for showering was kind of small. My friend and I both felt this way. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it's something to note. Overall experience was great.
This is a great house close to everything
My wife and I spent 5 days in Minneapolis and enjoyed this house very much. Bryan is a great host and supplies absolutely everything you could possibly need. This is a beautiful old home with wooden floors, plenty of windows, a great kitchen, 2 bathrooms with claw feet tubs, and everything was super clean. The outside is wonderful and the neighborhood is really nice. There is a great restaurant just a couple blocks away plus a fully stocked market, coffee shop and gas station just a couple blocks further. We have stayed in a lot of VRBO rentals but this one was one of our favorites and we would hope to stay here again when returning to Minneapolis.
Great cozy house with all the amenities - very charming!
Very well put together and owner thought through all the details! Owner was very responsive to all inquiries prior to visit and during stay. Would definitely go back to this property.
Perfect and quaint!
This house was the perfect "crash pad" for 1 night with a group of 7! So many beds! The house is older but it's very charming. It was impeccably clean! It was in a cute neighborhood and easy interstate access. Bryan was responsive, and we would definitely stay here again! We all loved it and wished we could have stayed there vs moving to a hotel to join more family!
*** There are 2 flights of stairs to get up to the bedrooms. They are a tad narrow. This was a bit tricky (scary) for my older parents, one who has a bad knee and the other broken ribs. They made it work by going slow and sideways. So keep this in mind if you have people who may have difficulty!
Thank you Bryan! Your home is lovely!
incredible location walk to downtown bryn mawr neighborhood. Cuppa Java coffee shop, sparks restaurant, utipils brewery, Theodore Wirth Regional Park, Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden, beaches, minneapolis chain of lakes
