About Alan Kremer
We're an active family of 5 that loves travel, exploration and the outdoors. We make our home in the Twin Cities, but love the shores of Lake Superior and getting 'up north'.
Alan Kremer purchased this Cabin in 2013
Why Alan Kremer chose Iron River
There's something special about being in the woods. We found this property in the early Spring of 2013 after the last big snow and just couldn't escape the appeal of the absolute peace and quiet. We were hooked from beginning and knew that this would be the perfect year round get-away.

We will definitely stay here again. Absolutely perfect to use as a base camp for snowmobiling.
Great place to stay!
This is our 2nd time here and we love the place! It’s so comfortable and cozy, beautiful place. Thank you!
Comfort and quiet in the woods.
We wanted a quiet cabin for a few days of snowmobiling and this was the perfect place. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen. Owners were very quick to respond to any question we had. Would definitely stay here again.
Even better than described.
We come up to ride ATVs and trail was at the driveway. Very private and easy access. I had read another review about how nice the bedding was and it certainly is the best of anywhere we have stayed! House was perfect size and the observation room was really nice. Great place to listen to the wind in the trees and hold a good book. We loved the gas fireplace. Puts out great heat n again, just made the room after a long day on the trail.
We ate dinner at The Spot one night-great food at decent prices. Owners very friendly and spent time chatting with us. Made it to the Pizza Parlor and again, food was great and owner chatted w us a long time. And a must is the Delta Diner! Our second visit there. Recommend you sit at the counter. Fun, entertaining and some terrific food!
Leaf color was peak, weather warm and trails were uncrowded during the week.
We come to Wisconsin every fall w our ATV and hope to return next year. If we do, you can bet we will return to this cabin! Just the best! Owners great to work with. Quick response.
We are seniors and this cabin was perfect for us.
Perfect base camp for exploring Bayfield County and beyond
We were very pleased with the house, and it truly was the perfect location to stay if you want to visit Bayfield, Ashland, Duluth/Superior or anywhere in between. Quick access to the basics (grocery store and gas station) in Iron River. Really appreciated the detailed binder with brochures and fliers for local activities. We referred to it several times.
Everything was very clean, and I was impressed with how well-stocked the kitchen was. There even was ice in the ice trays for us! We were totally in love with the gas fireplace...it just invites you to cuddle up and read a book. Happy to find a place that allows dogs too. Great outside floodlights at night if you're coming back late or letting the dog out.
Beautiful inside and out. It was clear that a lot of thought and attention to detail was put into the design of the house and the vacation experience.
Clean, secluded, excellent amenities
