*We are excited to inform you that the City of Isle of Palms has completed the beach restoration project on March 23, 2018. This included off-shore dredging and roughly 1,583,453 cubic yards have sand have been placed on the beach. All equipment was safely removed by April 1, 2018. Great views, great location, nice condo
A nice unit for a couple. Lovely decor, beautiful views out front door and from balcony. So relaxing. Loved being able to walk to dinner. Some really great restaurants close by. Seafood and Thursday Trivia night at Banana Cabana was fun. Pool and laundry facilities were nice, as were boardwalk and pier. We brought our roku stick and were able to watch movies & netflix n the wifi. We enjoyed having a kitchen. Everything was clean and in good order. Needs a cookie sheet or pizza pan that will fit in the oven. Great location for day trips to Charleston or Sullivan's/Ft. Moultrie. Thanks!!!
Great location, condo needs renovations and a good scrub
The location couldn't be better. Views of and a quick walk to the beach. The condo itself was like staying at a motel. Everything at first glance seemed ok but upon further inspection was sticky. The silverware was unclean and sticky, the floors were sticky, and the lack of a washer/dryer felt ridiculous. It seems the owners removed the washer/dryer and in its place put two vinyl mats to serve as a makeshift mattress/bed for one. The lack of a washer/dryer really was a detriment to our stay. Sand in everything and no place to wash it out. I realize there was a coin laundromat by the pool, but having to wait for clothing in a little public place while on vacation isn't exactly fun.
Lastly, it really isn't smart to have carpeting in a place where there's a ton of sand. The flooring really needs to be replaced with tile or something more conducive to handling water and sand.

The Isle of Palms consists of 5 miles of beach and the northern tip ends at Wild Dunes Resort. It is very close to Sullivan's Island, and Mt. Pleasant, and is only 15 miles to downtown Charleston. There are many activities very close to enjoy- sight seeing, restaurants, golf, tennis, water sports, jet skiing, boat rentals, Isle of Palms Marina, and Isle of Palms Recreation Center. The Harris Teeter sits right beside the Isle of Palms Connector for your grocery needs. The Isle of Palms front beach is also a great choice for restaurants and souvenirs.
