About Cathy

From Oreland Pennsylvania and Westfield New Jersey the shore was always a vacation spot for our families both in Cape May and Avalon ...We love this property due to the size of the one acre lot which is not typically available in a beach town s of room both inside and out...lot

Cathy purchased this house in 2001

Why Cathy chose Southern Shore Region

This property is in great proximity to wonderful surrounding beach towns like Cape May, Avalon, Stone Harbor, Wildwood..but offers more of a private setting ...Our Family has enjoyed many great gatherings with large parties of guests, all who thoroughly enjoyed the setting weather it was a barbeque or Christmas party..The house flows beautifully from room to room and can comfortably accommodate large parties..The park like setting creates a tranquil setting...hard to leave!

What makes this house unique

There is a great double adirondack swing hanging from one of the old oak trees where one can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening..not to mention the kids just swing merrily! This property has great history...the original owner built it in 1938 and owned all of the surrounding acreage and then developed and sold it to create the neighborhood..The gleaming hardwood floors and comfortable mix of antique and new furniture provides the inhabitants with a high level of comfort

We had a wonderful visit. Beautiful area, centrally located with plenty of activities. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Someone commented, "I would not mind living here". Hoping to have the opportunity to visit again.

Always first class

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Cathy for providing such a beautiful enviroment for my guests to stay for our anual Christmas Party !

They love the accomodations and the incredible decor.

In fact, if you considering selling any of the furniture , one of my staff people would love to put a bid on the ornate round table in the living room . Happy Holidays

Big family party

  • 4 of 5

This big Old house was perfect for us. The screened porch was the most used place. Kids was able to play outside or inside during parents was on the porch, It was perfect. A lot of pot/pan and dishes was available and very usefull. The beding and towel was sufficent even for our big party of 14. The location of the house was also perfect, we can choose to go to Cape May beach or Wildwood beach, everything was close. Everybody was happy and enjoy our vacation. Looking forward to repeat the experience next year! Thanks!

Enjoyed our visit

  • 4 of 5

Comfortable, beautiful home. Great that owner supplies towels and linens, that much less to pack. Owner was very quick to reply to problems. Biggest problem was the window air units that continually tripped the circuit between the red and green bedrooms. Loved the screened in porch and used it often.
