Why Jeanica Julce or Tom Cox chose Charlestown
It was our ideal vessel for living-aboard. Great location in Boston Harbor, like an oasis in the midst of the city. We lived on Rozinante for three years and chartered her extensively.
What makes this Boat unique
Guaranteed water views. Truly unique and very comfortable - suited well for a romantic getaway or a family of four. All the comforts of home in an ocean going sailboat with a must see Jacuzzi on a sailboat.

Way better than a hotel!
What a great opportunity. This spacious craft made for an enjoyable first visit to Boston. Sitting on the deck, sipping on a cocktail, watching ships come and go was relaxing and exciting. The motion of the boat was calming and subtle. The location of the marina was a perfect launch for walks into the North End, the USS Constitution, Bunker Hill and, of course, the beautiful town of Charlestown. We enjoyed eating and drinking at The Warren Tavern (we went back three times!) and a fancy lunch at Legal Oysteria. Concerned about staying on a cramped boat? Not in this case! The bathroom is smaller, but well equipped, it even has a shower. And a huge jacuzzi in the next room over! The berth-style bed was very comfortable, but took some maneuvering to enter and exit. Morning coffee was an easy preparation, the fridge and freezer were great. We will be back!
It was lovely. Wish we had more time!
A great change from staying in a hotel. Wish we had stayed longer!
Fun, convenient, unique!
Beautiful boat, well appointed, and very clean! Great location with lots to do!!!! We also chartered this boat for my husband's birthday. Captain Tom & his sailing crew of 2 were very professional and we had an excellent sail around Boston Harbor. The boat dropped us off at Pier 6 for dinner. We really appreciated this and were very grateful to Tom for accomodating our request. Overall, we would definitely do this again & recommend it to others.
Only negatives had to do with customer service. The woman in the office who answers emails re: charters/b&b didn't seem very knowledgeable about our trip, boat details, and sent the wrong contract multiple times. She also seemed confused and disorganized every time we spoke. Maybe they are understaffed at the marina?
Also, the woman who came on the boat the day of our charter to prepare it for the sail was very rude and scoffed at us for all the decorations and food we had laid out. This was our first time sailing, so we had no clue about necessary preparations (i.e. Putting away Breakables, stowing certain items, etc), nor were we briefed on this in advance. In the future, they should provide guidelines. She also laughed rudely in reference to my $200 wedges and said, "you're going to wear those?"ummm.... Who says that to someone? I suggest that she avoid making comments about guests and their attire, it's not good form. Do you know anything about hospitality? put on your charter smile and then mock your guests once they leave ; ) apart from that, we had a good time!
Amazing stay on the rozinante
Such a unique and amazing experience. The staff and boat were both perfect. The pictures don't do justice to how nice the boat really is and how much space it has.
Thank you Chris we are happy you enjoyed your stay. We will be making some more upgrades shortly and taking new pictures. You will be even more impressed the next time you visit us. Thanks again
Boston Constitution Marina
We stayed on the Rozinante Sailboat. Easy check in and easy check out. Met Tom the owner-he was very friendly and explained items on the boat -said we could call him anytime with any questions. Everyone in the office was very nice, giving suggestions, Tom helped us load our luggage. They held our luggage while we went for lunch since we were early. They let us stay after check out since we had a late afternoon flight out of Boston. We had a great two nights in the marina! Right off the Freedom Trail, we walked everywhere. We would definitely recommend staying here over a hotel!! Water taxi picked us up and brought us to the airport. How cool is that?! Thanks. For the great experience!
My husband and I stayed at the Constitution Marina overnight on the Rozinante. It was an amazing and unique experience. I brought my husband as a surprise for his 40th birthday and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone in the marina was very friendly and welcoming. The sailboat was beautiful and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. We only wished we could stay longer. From the beautiful views of the harbor and the city, to the relaxing swaying of the boat, definitely worth while!!!
Dozens of Boston's best restaurants, museums, parks, and historical sites within walking distance. USS Constitution sailing vessel next door. Pool and barbecue area on site. Minutes to Museum of Science, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere's House and many other local attractions. While parking may not always be available at the marina there is always parking available at the parking lot next door to the marina.
