*************************

Nestled in the coolest and quietest part Oak Creek Canyon, the Cliffside Canyon Getaway is conveniently located just 20 minutes from both Sedona and Flagstaff. Tucked away amongst the pines at an altitude of 5600’, and bordering untouched forest service land on two sides, it is ideal for a quick weekend retreat or an extended getaway. With Oak Creek only seconds away, the local “neighborhood white heron” often greets guests as they drive across the bridge to the cabin. The river is stocked with fish, so those with a license can cast a rod as they please. Some of the most scenic and popular hikes in the region are right at your fingertips (West Fork Trail - 2 miles away, Cookstove Trail - .5 mile, and Harding Springs Trail - 1 mile), making the cabin a perfect adventure base camp for those looking to explore.

Vaulted ceilings run throughout the cabin, with exposed beam and rafter construction bringing sophistication and style to this rustic retreat. Stunning tongue-and-groove woodwork gives the home a cabin feel while floor-to-ceiling windows and multiple skylights illuminate the great room with gorgeous natural light and the beauty of Oak Creek Canyon. Fully adjustable blinds and retractable skylight shades make it easy to set the mood or enjoy breathtaking views from the comfort of the cabin. With a hot tub on the private patio with views of the towering cliff walls above, this house makes a perfect place to kick back with family and friends after a day of exploring all that northern Arizona has to offer.

The fully-equipped kitchen boasts granite counters, gorgeous cabinetry, and an open layout that makes for fun and easy meal preparation. The kitchen features modern appliances, a dual sink with garbage disposal, and a full complement of cooking utensils and dishware. Enjoy high-top bar seating at the counter for casual dining or a more formal dining room table with seating for six near the gas fireplace.

Featuring a private entrance and in-room heating unit, the Master Suite offers privacy and comfort with a cozy queen bed and a lovely master bath with a luxurious jetted tub and shower. Down the hall from the great room you will find two additional guest rooms. The first guest room welcomes you with a California king-sized bed and serene views while the second guest room holds a queen bed and built-in twin bunk beds, Both guest rooms enjoy an airy, spacious feel with large windows and quiet ceiling fans.

An inviting deck off the back of the house is a great place to soak in the hot tub after a long hike, or grill out and enjoy an evening meal at the picnic table. Unwind in the Adirondack chairs, take a nap in the double-wide hammock after a busy day of exploring, or wander down the street to cool off in the clear waters of Oak Creek.

Just twenty minutes from I-17 and I-40, and surrounded by a variety of hiking, dining, and shopping options, the Cliffside Canyon Getaway is the perfect home base for all of Sedona's and Flagstaff's attractions. The Arizona Snowbowl is a quick 45 minute drive, and offers world class skiing at a family friendly resort. Grand Canyon is an 90 minute drive north, providing some of the most beautiful scenery in the country.

Clean, cozy and felt right at home.

  • 5 of 5

Great location with nice walking trails that came in handy for walking our dogs. The house was very clean and the yard was perfect for our two Bulldogs who also enjoyed their stay. My 11 year old daughter enjoyed having her own queen size bed to sleep in as well as the board games that were available to her. The location is perfect if you plan on visiting Sedona and the Grand Canyon. This house is also perfect if you're traveling with pets. My only regret was not booking the house for more days. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Perfect accommodations for our family of five!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of five stayed at the Cliffside Cabin two weeks ago and can not say enough great things about this cabin in the Oak Creek Canyon. The cabin was just a short drive from both Sedona and Flagstaff and also gave us a very secluded and beautiful place to rest after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. It's tucked back into a very quiet neighborhood. Many of the other homes were unoccupied and we only saw one other neighbor during our week long stay. The owner provided very clear and easy to understand directions prior to arriving. These directions provided us with everything we needed to know about operating everything in the cabin. Our family loved the cabin's location and the beautiful setting including the breathtaking views we had of the canyon from the back patio. Our three kids loved exploring the woods and creek behind the cabin, hanging their hammocks in the trees and relaxing, or soaking in the hot tub on the back patio. The owner has stocked the cabin with everything a visitor would need and even had a small welcome basket of treats. The cabin had a rustic feel (as a cabin in the woods and canyon should have), but also had a number of updates (i.e. both bathrooms seemed recently updated) The cabin was very clean and well maintained. We also loved the Junipine restaurant that was close to the cabin. They have great service, food, and the perfect patio with a beautiful view. http://www.junipine.com/dining-sedona-az-resorts.htm We loved our stay at the Cliffside Cabin and our time in the Oak Creek Canyon. We have already shared this hidden gem with a number of other families and friends and would definitely book this cabin again.

Loved Cliffside cabin! Location was perfect, in between Sedona and flagstaff. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. Perfect for family fun or a couple wanting privacy and to get away for awhile. Short drive to Grand Canyon, antelope Canyon and other sight seeing.

A beautiful cabin in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

The Cliffside Cabin was quaint, rustic and exactly what we were looking for! Our vacation started in Sedona and included the Grand Canyon; the cabin was a perfect launching place and wonderful to return home to; especially the warm hot tub. The owners were quick and responsive with our questions and provided easy instructions. The view of the canyon was beautiful and the relaxed ambience of the cabin was a wonderful way to begin our vacation!
