This charming, cozy cabin in Oak Creek Canyon was absolutely perfect for our vacation! There were very clear directions emailed to us previous to our stay; and a book of instructions when we got there; so everything went very smoothly. The three bedrooms and two baths accommodated our family very comfortably. We loved the hot tub, skylights, fireplace--well, basically everything about it! It is a bit tricky to find at night, so, if possible, try to arrive when there is daylight.
The stay was centered around my wife's 50th birthday. All 4 of her sisters joined us over a 3 day period and we had a wonderful time. We hiked around slide rock, grilled out at the cabin, went to Sedona for site seeing and good food.
On behalf of all the 50 year alumni members of the Northern Arizona University Hiking Club, I would like to say how much we enjoyed using the Cliffside cabin for our reunion. The tall trees, view of the cliffs, a great outside area for our gathering and a we'll equipped facility made our time there most pleasant. Everyone in the group was very pleased with the house and will certainly recommend it to others. There was one minor problem that the management looked after right away. Thanks, Jake Jacobson, Alumni Reunion Coordinator.
A bunch of us girls stayed at the Cliffside cabin and it was great. The views were gorgeous!! The beds were comfortable. We loved the patio and the hot tub!! My only complaint is that it is very difficult to find the turn off getting off the highway, it would definitely help to put some reflectors up or something to mark it better at night. I would stay here again and would highly recommend it to people.
Our family had a wonderful stay at Cliffside Cabin. We arrived late at night and enjoyed the relaxing hot tub after a long drive and an exhilarating day of hiking. Chocolates were left at each of our pillows, which we all appreciated. We woke up our first morning to the most amazing view that far exceeded our expectations. A wonderful snack basket was left in the kitchen containing goodies and coffee. What a wonderful surprise to start the day. The cabin was charming inside and out. We hope to return the next time we visit the area.
For starters this cabin is very welcoming. It was clean and there were chocolates and towels on each bed. Everything you could need for a stay was supplied and the hot tub was great. All beds were comfortable as well as the living room furniture. Overall a great place to unwind after hiking. The only draw back was this house had a lot of rules for operating anything from the shower to the hot tub to the fire place. The property manager was very responsive which was definitely helpful.
