Deerfield Resort is a water oriented, picture perfect, 1000 acre, private recreational resort with airport. This tree covered bit of paradise is snuggled into gently rolling hills, dotted with first rate homes amid luxurious trees.

Probably one of the most beautiful resorts in the country, Deerfield is designed for those who love all water sports, golfing, flying and living in nature’s beauty. Weather is moderate year round.

Located within this marvelous gated community is TN44 elevation is 1350’, the paved runway is 3100x50ft. If that weren’t enough there is a beautiful 18-hole championship golf course, clubhouse and pro shop, two restaurants, tennis courts, swimming pool, children’s playground and covered boat docks are now available. Sand Volleyball anyone… yes, that too.

The Greens at Deerfield offers a beautiful 6800-yard championship course designed by Bobby Clampett. The course also offers a driving range and practice greens. The Golf Shop offers full service pro shop with a wide array of clubs, accessories and apparel. Golf lessons are available with Golf Pro Mark Brown. Proshop-Tee Times: 800-325-2788 or 423-566-0040.

Ask about Golf Packages, such as unlimited golf including cart, so whether you arrive by land, air or water, your golf cart will be waiting you to the first tee.

The Green’s Grill located inside the clubhouse at The Greens at Deerfield offers breakfast and lunch.

Deerfield is located on the shores of Norris Lake near LaFollette, north of Knoxville and seven miles south of the Cumberland’s.

Sound like heaven, yes, it’s close.

We hope you choose Skyline at Deerfield, our privately owned vacation home.

Items Provided: Bed linens, bath towels, washcloths, dishtowels, starter supplies of bath soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, coffee filters, dishwasher and dishwashing detergent.

Items to bring: Towels (beach, additional dishtowels) paper items ( facial tissues etc.), laundry detergent, garbage bags (tall kitchen & 33-gallon) foil and plastic wrap, charcoal, starter supply items.

Check In - 4 PM: We make every effort to have the unit available earlier, however due to cleaning schedules units are seldom ready earlier then 4-PM check in time. Please plan accordingly. We cannot allow anyone to check in to a unit where cleaning has not been completed and inspected.

Check Out – 10 AM: Our cleaning crew arrives promptly at 10 AM. We ask that you please vacate the unit and unit property by the scheduled checkout time so that we may ready the unit for the next guests. There will be a minimum $75.00 fee assessed for late checkouts.

Maximum number of guests: Your confirmation lists the maximum number of guests your reserved unit is designed to accommodate – this number includes children. We ask that you respect these guidelines the owners have set.

We must be very strict in enforcing these guidelines and should the actual numbers in the unit exceed the limit, you will be asked to leave the unit without refund.

Pets: While your pet may be an angel in your own home, strange surroundings may bring out the beast in him or her. Even with housebroken pets there remain other factors to consider such as noise, pet hair, fleas and allergies of unit owners and future guests. Therefore, we must be extremely strict in enforcing our “NO PETS” policy. Pets found in or outside of rental will result in losing reservation without refund.

Telephones: The telephone provided in each unit is the private property of the individual owner. No calls may be charged to the unit. All long distance calls should be placed on a calling card or called collect.

Mechanical Problems: Deerfield Resort is situated in a unique area of Tennessee. Because of our location, we can not guarantee immediate service when utility problems such as telephone, satellite, cable or television are interrupted. We also do not maintain a 24-hour maintenance crew so we assume that any problems with your unit be reported as early in the day as possible. We will respond as quickly as possible but we do not offer adjustments to your stay due to problems beyond our control.

Amenities and property at Deerfield are used at your own risk. Deerfield and Deerfield associates, including Skyline owners accept no liability with injury or loss.

Often I'm asked where in Ohio I'm from... as most owners in Deerfield are from Ohio, this makes perfect sense. Of course I tell them I'm from the Illinois side :) As that is where I reside--the Suburbs of Chicago--and that say's it all! My family home is worth the drive, even an 8-hour drive!! I suspect if you come down once, you'll likely return--I did, I still do.

If you like riding motorcycles try the Blue Ridge Parkway--to get there, wind your way down the Devils Tail. On the way back stop and visit Norris Dam. For a round of golf try the Greens at Deerfield... why not fly in--the aviator's dream is at your doorstep; 3200 paved runway (TN44).

Oak Ridge: American Museum of Science and Energys – even adults can learn something new or old. West & East Town Mall, Old City for nightlife close to the Golden Globe where Knoxville hosted the World’s Fair. Spend some time at Volunteer Landing. Located in downtown Knoxville on the Tennessee River. One-mile river walk includes the Gateway Regional Visitor Center, Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, Star of Knoxville Riverboat, Volunteer Marina, Three Rivers Rambler, Blount Mansion, James White’s Fort and fine restaurants.

Great unit, beautiful views, nice marina

Being familiar with Norris Lake, this is exactly what we look for for our annual stay: clean, comfortable accommodations, convenient location, marina access for our boat. It is definitely a remote location, so you have to be comfortable with driving up dark, mountainous roads.
