Brant House Beach House with 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths
In the heart of desirable Brant Point, this quintessential Nantucket beach house is just steps away from the Henry Street access to the beach path on Hulbert Ave. From there, you can walk down the beach to Jetties Beach and Restaurant or up the beach to the Brant Point Lighthouse. You are also within walking distance of Children’s Beach and the White Elephant Hotel. In addition to Brant Point, Nantucket Town, with its amazing restaurants, two movie theatres, museums, bike rental shops, churches and world class shopping is a short stroll down S. Beach Street. No car necessary!
Our house features four bedrooms and two and a half baths spread out over two stories and has wireless internet throughout. Our main level was renovated in Winter 2014 and features brand new floors, a new kitchen with Viking appliances, professionally redecorated dining and living areas, half bath/laundry room, small office and bedroom with a queen-sized bed. There is air conditioning in the living room and downstairs bedroom. There are also two televisions with cable access on this level.
The upstairs level features new hardwood floors and central air conditioning, as well as three bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and attached full bathroom that was renovated in Winter 2015. It has a glass door which leads to a small outdoor balcony with filtered ocean views. It also has a television with a built-in DVD player and Apple TV, which gives you access to movies, television and sports when you input your Apple ID/Password. This television does not have cable access. The second upstairs room is light-filled with windows on three sides. It features two twins and also has filtered ocean views. The third bedroom has two twin beds. In addition to the bedrooms, the upstairs level has a hall bathroom with stand-up shower.
Outside, there is private parking for one car, a front porch with swing overlooking a hedged yard, a back patio for eating and grilling, and an outdoor shower. There is a Weber grill on the back patio, which is attached to the gas line, so you do not have to fuss with tanks!

My family had a wonderful stay at this house. We arrived via ferry and walked a couple blocks to the quiet, residential neighborhood street where it is located. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and well-equipped. The beds were very comfortable. There's an outdoor grill and table/chairs on the private patio in the rear garden for eating al fresco. The house is one block from the beach, and several other beaches - such as Jetties - were so close that we could walk to them. Because of this property's proximity to the beaches and the shops/restaurants, we never needed a car. We highly recommend this rental and hope to come back again some day!
