Downstairs (water level)= has two sets of bunk beds and queen bed. Access to lower deck with sitting area and an outdoor shower.
Upper deck off main floor has lounge chairs, various tables and chairs, umbrellas, BBQ, and seated bar with chairs, high table with built-in heater.
Please note, the lake level is back up to normal levels after an all time low for 3 years, and therefore the boat lifts are not functional for lack of use and don't have an ETA on repairs. We have had guest bring their boats and bring it into the dock and tie it. Our house is on the deepest and widest part of the lake so we are blessed for that. There is great fishing off the deck, caution should be taken when swimming or diving off the lower deck. Please contact Granbury Marina for boating conditions. I don't own a boat therefore not the best to provide advise. I have seen jet skiing and limited boating on the lake.

About Lourdes Hassler
Grew up in California where I married and had our first child, our son, later we moved to Texas on an employment transfer. I love Texas for it's a state that is warm, welcoming, and family oriented. In Texas our second child, our girl was born, Michelle, I say I keep both states and grandmas happy! No more kids, now its time to enjoy grand-kids. We have been living in Texas since 1993 and call this great state home. I am a TCU (Go Horned Frogs) graduate, our family now has three TCU graduates, our son, Chris, and step-daughter who I adore, Jennifer...Hence the flag that typically flies (along with the American) while we're at our Lakefront Heaven.
Lourdes Hassler purchased this Chalet in 2007
Why Lourdes Hassler chose Hood County
Water feeds my spirit, I realized in 2007, that our children were growing up quick and soon will be off to college and on their own. I wanted a place the whole family and friends would enjoy coming for the weekend and forget phones, laptops and never being at home but going off to friends house. We have entertain a lot at our Lakefront Haven Home, especially during holiday weekends (fourth of July offers the most amazing firework display you will ever see) all from the deck or on the lake in the boat. Granbury was perfect for its quaint square, amazing atmosphere, and relaxed living. Plus it's so close to our primary home and work (90 miles away), which makes for the prefer get away location.
What makes this Chalet unique
I had been visiting Lake Granbury for years since my best friend co-owned the property next door. Every time we would go stay there, I would enjoy so much having my coffee on the deck or balcony and watching the sun rise, the calmness the of water in the morning, the private jet that quietly would fly across the lake in his commute and return in the early evening and the kids just flat-out having the time of their life. Actually both son and daughter learned to wakeboard and water ski on Lake Granbury. This property that I own today, was the property next door, the largest one on the row of chalet and the one I prayed to own someday. Well prayers were answered. Today my coffee taste even sweeter, as I smile onto the same lake, same picture perfect sunrises, same calm waters and enjoy the fact that even after so many years our kids and their friends, for some now with children of their own, enjoy themselves year after year, fishing from the deck, the most amazing star show at night, and wonderful challenging board games and outdoor movies on the deck-- it just never ends to the fun you will have. You'll just need to come and visit and create your own history and memories. May you feel at home and enjoy this amazing Lakefront Heaven!

Great Place, Hot In Summer
My friends and I stayed here over a weekend in mid July. It was a great house on a good part of the lake. There was plenty of bedding and space for everyone. The only knock against it is the lack of central cooling. It was very warm when I first got there and didn't really cool off until later that night, with all the window A/C units running as cold as possible. But, I would definitely consider renting this place again because the room units did enough to make it comfortable. During the fall this place would be amazing.
Had a wonderful time
We had a great time, figured out we didn't need to pack as much as did. It was very well stocked and very relaxing. The owner was such a pleasure to work with and my family and I look forward to going back again.
This place was very clean and all the beds were very comfortable, lots of room for family and friends. The kitchen was very well stocked as well as bedding, towels etc. I will definitely stay again!!!
Overpriced & Dangerous
This was overpriced. It is supposed to sleep up to 16 people. The toilet backed up after 1 day of 8 people. There was no TV only old DVD's. The only TV was Apple TV & the owner could not operate it or give any instructions on how to operate it. I'm still waiting for my deposit back. There were unsafe entry steps, loose & rotten boards on the deck. The railing was loose & dangerous especially since we had 2 school aged kids with us. This should not be allowed to be rented to ygr public until it is made safe. The septic system backed up after 1 day & it had to be constantly pumped out as the owner had been advised to upgrade it but had chosen not to. I wouldn't go in the hot tub I would be afraid if you added people to the weight of it it would fall through the floor.
Don't make the mistake of booking this.
I'm a seasoned international traveler & I've never come across accommodation this bad & ive been to some 3rd world countries as far as a safe & hygienic place - if your not aware you could be up to your ankles in crap.
If you want/need it-it's there
I rented this home as a retreat for my husbands birthday. We had a wonderful time. I should have taken less "stuff" as there was everything you might possibly need. The hot tub was a definite plus. Brand new grill outside definitely got used. It was clean, had great views and Lourdes was great. Our refund was done within one day(without asking).
Good time was had
We had a great time while at the house despite not having the hot tub working and the rain that Texas endured that week. We had lots of room for the 10 of us. Quite peaceful in the mornings overlooking the water while sipping on coffee. Thank you.
Breathtaking views, in a quiet and quaint location with amazing fun to be had in this three bedroom and two bath Lake House. Located in the widest and most ideal part of the lake for views, boating and all water activities. One can say your floating on water the minute you step foot on to the deck. The deck is directly over the private dock with 2 boat slips and 2 jet ski lifts for a well round enjoyment. You can see the spectacular views of the Lake from nearly every room in the home. Including the spa room on the third level, spa hold up to 8 adults. There are amazing sunrises but the hot evening sun is over the hillside so the deck is shaded in the late afternoon. Lots of local attraction to visit within 20 minutes , starting with Historic Square in Granbury known for 'Where Texas History Lives' and for its Historic Preservation. Granbury was founded in the 1860's; also Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose. The Pecan Plantation Golf course is only 3 miles away, and the challenging Squaw Valley golf course in Glen Rose is 9 miles away. This 3 story on the water home is perfect for short getaways to extended stays. Please call, text or email us with any questions or requesting more pictures or information.
