We recently bought this totally run down apartment that we knew had a beautiful potential to be cozy and charming. We decided to fully renovate it, bring it back to life and infuse it with everything beautiful to make it truly special for our guests. I am an architect and consider it to be one of my little projects. We have made many lasting friends in meeting our guests from all over, and we hope to also greet you in this exquisite apartment soon! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
We live in this very lovely Paris quarter, and totally love the atmosphere, the park of the Eiffel Tower, the stores and markets and all of our favorite restaurants are in the area! Why would you want to live anywhere else when you could have a few moments each day passing and taking a glimpse of the most romantic structure on earth - the Eiffel Tower!! When you see it lit up and sparkling at night, you cannot help but stare in awe! Come and experience Paris with all it's beauty, and we hope you choose to stay here where you will definitely have a very special and comfortable stay!
Proximity to Rue Cler & Eiffel Tower
Let me start with 2 words: American Shower. We have traveled extensively in Europe and learned to appreciate a good facility when we see one. The shower in this apartment has ample space, a reliable shower door and plenty of fluffy towels for a relaxing daily ablution. Two thumbs up!
Of course this apartment has more merit beyond the shower. It is well-equipped for a short stay with all the necessities. The sofa bed in the living room was very comfortable for our 10-year-old. The washer/dryer works well too. It is located on a quiet street only steps away from rue Cler.
Aarti is a gracious and efficient host - she is quick to return emails and provided many useful tips for the neighborhood. The whole experience is beyond our expectations. We definitely recommend this apartment.
We stayed here for 12 days and could not have asked for more. Aarti's communication before and throughout the trip was great. She met us at the apartment to give us a tour and gave us a better understanding of the area. The apartment is spacious by Paris standards and was great for the two of us. It's very clean and comfortable and Aarti has it stocked with everything you could need to include umbrellas and champagne flutes. There are numerous restaurants and markets right outside the front door and the area is very conducive to walking. We walked everywhere but it is very close to the metro as well. Aarti provided us with a list of recommendations for restaurants which we definitely appreciated. We ate at several of them and especially loved Le Café du Commerce and Vin et Maree. You won't be disappointed with this apartment or the area!
We could not have asked for a better experience! Aarti was great about emailing before our visit, then met us at the apartment to show us everything. When we had questions, she was available by text or phone right away. The location was perfect - street market right around the corner with everything we needed for excellent meals. Our first night we went out for a walk to see the Eiffel Tower all lit up - beautiful! Everything was walking distance, and the metro was close for when the weather didn't cooperate with us wanting to walk everywhere. Apartment isn't big, but it was fine for 3 of us (teenage daughter slept on the futon in the living room). It was very clean, everything worked, and we did all our laundry. We'd like to stay longer next time we visit, and an apartment like this would make a longer stay really comfortable.
We stayed for one week to celebrate the new year in Paris. We are already in love with the Rue Cler area, so this apartment was a real winner for us because it is literally around the corner. Aarti has done a great job decorating a "Paris size" apartment with the right level of comfort, amenities and style. We were a party of three - mom, dad and teenage son. He had no problem sleeping on the roomy pull out in the front room and our back bedroom was just right for us. A party of four with large luggage would overwhelm the floor space, so I recommend 3 or less, unless you have medium to small bags. It's a romantic place, and for two, so close to Rue Cler and Eiffel tower I'd say it would be just about perfect. Aarti keeps the place in very good shape and provides very detailed instructions for the tenants on how to keep it that way. All of the shopping, dining and services you would need are steps away. Closest metro entrance is a 5 min walk. If you are averse to step spiral stairs this place may not be for you. It's only up one flight, but this should be considered. Bonne Annee!
This is our second trip in two years. Aarti, the apartment and area are truly amazing. When we are back in Paris this is where we will be staying??
My wife and I stayed here with our 11 y/o daughter and it could not have been more perfect. The location is absolutely ideal. Rue Cler was one of my daughter's favorite things on our whole trip and to have it a few steps away was fantastic. The ride from the train from Claude was informative and helped us get acclimated before we jumped into regular Metro use. We walked many times to and the Seine and Eiffel. Easy walk to Metro. Apartment is upscale and washer dryer is certainly nice to have as we travel very light. This was a great choice for us and and will be our first choice for a return visit.
Rue Cler is an ideal location for a wonderful stay in Paris, away from the busy areas yet with a great balance of Parisian village living and convenient to shopping streets, museums, tourist sights and the beautiful Parc Champ de Mars and Eiffel Tower.
