email@example.com purchased this condo in 2001
I purchased this property in 2001 when the neighborhood was on the crust of development. My how it has blossomed! The neighborhood is alive with several amenities within walking distance. A few steps away are the Starbucks and the Safeway; and restaurants and bars are alive with people illuminating a wonderful atmosphere. It has been a wonderful experience to watch the neighborhood flourish into such a vibrant and lively community!!
I love waking up and hearing the city come alive. I always look forward to my morning stroll to Starbucks and interacting with the people who are out an about. Because we are in the heart of NW DC, I see and hear the Presidential motorcade just enough to remind me why I love this city! The close proximity to EVERYTHING makes this truly a FABULOUS neighborhood!!
We stayed here for a week from May 1st to May 7th, 2017. This was our first trip to D.C. and had no idea what to expect. Most of what we heard was about the high crime in D.C. We took the Metro (yellow line) from Reagan to Mt. Vernon and cost $4.10 each. Short 5 minute walk from the station to the apartment. Arrived to find everything just as the photos were on the page. We immediately fell in love with the coziness and comfort of the place. We arrived in the afternoon, so made no "tourist" trips that day. We walked to the Safeway Grocery store about a block away and was able to get some stuff for the fridge and to snack on and return to plan our days ahead. The neighborhood was really nice and at no time did we fell worried about any criminal activity. That was a big relief! The unit is a basement unit and has upstairs neighbors. You can hear them moving around, but it was not unbearable. The unit is easy walking distance to most of the sights to see. We chose to use Uber many times and they were all able to locate us easily. Most rides were between $4 - $9 just depending on where you wanted to go. Some days we walked out and Ubered back and others just the opposite. All of the furniture was in great shape and comfortable. The queen bed was VERY comfortable and we slept very well. Lots of closet space for handing clothes. Washer/Dryer combo worked well. Wi-Fi worked well also. Zaneta, the owner was SUPER to work with. I will be sending as many of my friends to this place as possible and highly recommend it. The unit is great for a couple, but has a fold-away bed for use along with sheets, blankets and pillows for it if more than two decide to stay. We actually looked forward to "coming home" every day to relax from all of our sightseeing activities. We did not try any of the nearby restaurants or bars so I cannot comment on them.
Cozy apartment with EVERYTHING supplied. Close to Convention Center and grocery store. The washer/dryer, a great plus.
Clean and comfortable. Would definitely book again when staying in DC.
We had a wonderful time. The unit was clean, had all the amenities we needed and was centrally located. We would highly recommend. We stayed with our daughter and used the twin blow up. Worked great, she was very comfortable! Close to grocery store.
Spotless, well-appointed, quiet, good Wi-fi and it is just as advertised and worth the cost. Great location, only a 5 minute walk to Convention Center. Good nearby restaurants. Only 1/2 block from a large Safeway. Safe nice neighborhood and a police station is 1/2 block away. I will definitely rent it again when I return to D.C.

As a fyi, a construction project is occurring in a lot behind the property. Work is occurring during the day, on weekdays. Although the construction should not interrupt your stay, during the day you may hear some of the construction from inside of the unit. Our guests have not had any issues with the construction, and enjoyed their stay. Please see reviews for their feedback.
