Amazing home beautiful and quiet getaway
The home was incredible we will definitely use it again. It was absolutely perfect for a family getaway. The owners have thought of everything we needed nothing on our arrival. Everything we needed to cook or grill out was there. Beautiful home and surroundings
Thank you for the nice review. You were wonderful guests and always welcome at our cabin!
A great family gathering
This cozy facility offers updated conveniences in a country, log cabin setting is well equipped for cooking, visiting and just enjoying a scenic getaway. The 2 BR/2 bath cabin accommodates up to four people and, if you need space for up to ten, you can add the bunkhouse for up to 6 more people. On the other hand, the cabin would also be a great getaway experience for a couple.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with the family, cooked and served the entire meal (and several others) with no problem at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the Boyd Cabin - I hope we can do it again in the near future. The hosts are available very helpful if needed. (Be aware that the cabin itself does not "sleep 10" people as was our 1st impression. The cabin and bunkhouse is required for accommodations for 10.) ;)
This property is fantastic. My husband and I stayed here in October of 2018 for a quick weekend getaway. As you can see from the photographs, the structure and decor are beautiful, but photos really don't do it justice. The decor has been curated with such care, and it shows. It was a rainy weekend and the massive fireplace was just perfect. The kitchen is VERY well stocked. I'm the type to travel with my own basic kitchenware when I can because I love to cook, and you really never know how well stocked a "well stocked" vacation rental kitchen really is. And the view out from the back of the property is amazing. I would definitely stay here again!
Thank you for your kind words. You are welcome back anytime to our cabin.
Very nice cabin with a good option for additional people (bunkhouse was great). We really enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful spot. Very private. Awesome old split log structure.
Well appointed. Good beds. Good value for the number of beds. AC works great ina big vaulted and lofted space. Pretty and very clean.
DISH and Wi-Fi a nice plus, and really good cell reception on top of the mountain-unusual for the Mt View area. We rented the bunk house too. Big kitchen.
Really good rental. I could easily live there.
For the number of beds the living room is small. 4-5 seating. Thankfully the weather cooperated and we spent our time outdoors.
I’d also recommend making sure the fridge has been replaced. It is on its last legs. Think it got cold about the time we left (4 nights later). Ended up mainly using ice chests.
We’ll stay there again and soon. Not too far from home for us, but feels like the smokies!
Lovely, authentic mountain retreat
We loved staying at this beautiful cabin overlooking the Ozark Mountains. We were impressed with the use of historical materials in the construction of the cabin, all the while ensuring modern conveniences and comfort. We cooked some delicious meals in the well-appointed kitchen, enjoyed some games on the backporch in the evening, went for long walks in the area, visited the nearby town for some antiquing and shopping, and best of all, built some beautiful wood fires in the impressive stone fireplace in the main room. The beds were comfortable, the cabin's décor was imaginative and authentic, and we had a great long weekend! I would highly recommend this rental and hope to return again someday.
