We booked this home on short notice (less than 24 hrs). Nestled in the mountains in the Hounds Ear Golf Club outside blowing rock. Vintage chic, but all the modern amenities you would come to expect. Very modern kitchen, beautiful decor. Rooms spacious, comfortable beds, great deck with a hot tub on the lower level. Wi-fi. And What adds to this home is the spectacular placement of the house between enormous boulders jutting out of the mountain. There was a small stream just adjacent to one of the boulders which you could hear sitting out on the deck. Recommend when you leave the club, turn RIGHT. It will save you about 20 minutes going into town. Turn left and you will go on a slow winding road, although scenic, but time consuming. We jut spent two days there, but it was a good weekend to shop at outlet mall, do downtown blowing rock, grandfather mountain. Rental company very good as well and accommodating with such short notice we gave them. Overall very clean, charming home/cabin.
