''My two family members and dog stayed here and it was a lovely, very clean, and exceptional place to stay. We had such a relaxing weekend. The restaurants nearby and Tubac Art Village just made it special. Of course we shopped and visited nearby Tumacacori as well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.'' Dottie and Dave, La Jolla,CA

Overall, very satisfactory
We definitely enjoyed our stay in Tubac. The location of this townhouse was excellent--walking distance to the pool, De Anza Trail, the shopping "village", etc. The people in the area were very friendly, and it was definitely "dog friendly". Although the townhouse is an interior unit, we had enough privacy. (We frequently could hear one neighbor's music through the wall, but it wasn't a problem.) There is some freeway noise, but it lets up considerably at night. The unit was equipped with all essentials, & everything worked. The 2 bedrooms/baths were especially comfortable and convenient (when we had guests). When the TV reception appeared subpar, Shay immediately arranged for a new provider. When we accidentally locked ourselves out, Gilberto came over quickly to leave us a key & saved us a lot of frustration. There were a few small things that needed some attention (we told Shay), but nothing that detracted from our stay. From what we could tell, the rental rate was quite reasonable. So in sum, this place provided us with a good base for an enjoyable escape from the winter rains at home, and we were very satisfied during our time there.
Small for 6.
Great location. Loved the pool. Living area cramped. Dishwasher did not work.
This property was just right for our stay
The property is in the perfect location for our stay. We wish it were available longer but it’s a popular rental and we were happy to have it for 5 Days. Seems to have been painted recently and newer more updated bed covers added. Owner was very responsive with requests and questions. Very nice man.
condo in Tubac
Tubac is wonderful — an artists' colony in a very interesting historical setting— and we spent hours outside every day hiking and enjoying the pool. There are wonderful hiking trails nearby, of various levels of difficulty. The condo was clean and comfortable, with a gas fireplace that we used on cool evenings. We couldn't get telephone connection with our T-mobile flip phones, but our son did fine with a Verizon-network phone. Internet access was fine, so we weren't completely cut off from the world.
Tubac area great
We had great time in Tubac.
The townhouse needs up dating.
Beds and bedding needs to be replaced.
Furniture mismatched and oversized.
beautiful but not luxuriouous

Location
Our Tubac town home at the Embarcadero is located in a peaceful gated community, on the south side of Tubac. It has shared year-around heated out-door pool and SPA comparable to the luxury resorts. Surrounded by the Santa Rita, the Tumacacori and St. Cayatano mountains, it offers great hiking trails, up the mountains and along the Santa Cruz river. There is a park within 5 minutes walking and 27 holes championship golf course a mile away. The town of Tubac offers fine dining alongside arts and crafts galleries with out door open exhibitions. While here make sure to include the special local attraction in your site seeing; going up on highway I-19 towards Tucson you could enjoy the spectacular cacti birds and wildlife at the Seguaro National Park; take a tour at the deep into the ground into the top secret long-range Titan missile base and don't skip the breathtaking tour at the famous Pima copper mine. If you like to challenge yourself you may want to hike mt. Wrightson up to the summit at 9,453 feet or bike up mt. Lemmon (9,157 feet), on the north side of Tucson where you could also ski in the winter time.
