About the owner: We were both born and raised in Iowa. We have been married for 37 years and have 3 children and 2 granddaughters. We moved our family to Oregon in 1993 and have enjoyed all that Oregon has to offer. Our family loves the outdoors. Having a log home has always been a dream of ours. Now we can live our dream. We have had so many great memories here at our log home.
Why the Owner Chose La Pine, OR, USA:
We love the quiet community and have some close friends that have also built homes in the area. Our home is in the back of our two acre lot which makes it a quiet peaceful setting. Watching and hearing the birds and wildlife is a passion of ours. Being among all the upper lakes and rivers makes activities unlimited.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Away from the road. Backs up to the Little Deschutes River (80 ft.). Wildlife viewing. Swimming, floating and fishing. Beautiful blue skies during the day and so many stars at night. Summer days are warm and in the evening it cools down so nice (perfect weather combo) in the summer. It is a winter wonderland for winter sports. The home sits just down the road from BLM where you can ride your ATVs/Mountain Bikes to your heart's content.
