Great home base for the beautiful Swan Valley.
The condo was terrific. It was comfortable and clean, spacious beyond our needs, with a great layout. There was easy access to the trails of the Valley. The temperature was comfortable (we did manage the window coverings during the day), and we enjoyed the kitchen and laundry available in the unit. We would gladly return!

This particular property is the reason I will no longer spend any more money with HomeAway or VRBO. HomeAway has a third party company that advises property owners to show up at the property to verify ID and credit card information. It kind of took me for a loop when the owners showed up mentioning there was an issue with my payment but had already given me the code for the door and did not call, text, email me, or try to contact me through the home away app to let me know there was an issue with payment. These people showed up, asked me if I knew the person who was walking out back, (the reservation was made for two people, it was below 20 degrees when we arrived, and the two people were in the house.) She came in with a man that was supposed to fix a broken toilet paper handle. Looking around as if she was looking for someone else or trying to find something wrong so they could ask me to leave. I felt like I was discriminated against by these property owners due to the color of my skin. When I reached out to HomeAway, (I recorded all calls), they told me they never send owners to the properties to verify anything, but when I forwarded them the email from the 3rd party that the owner sent to me... They changed their tune. I'd booked 1-3 other properties through HomeAway/VRBO and there has never been any issues but all of a sudden, during this trip, payment had to be verified. I was peed off. Ready to pack my things and leave, in the snow. I expressed my concerns to one of the owners and she did apologize but I did not understand back then or now how when I tried to reach out to HomeAway about the "payment error" the owner left out of the house when I made an attempt to get them on the phone. Who does business like that?! I also told her that we could leave because I was not showing her anything and that the money had already come out of my account. She left and I did not see her for the remainder of my stay except for a trip to WalMart and she turned her head as if she did not know me. LOL. The email I sent was too long to post here but I think I got my point across. I will not be back to Condon. I will not conduct any more business with HomeAway or any of its affiliates. Oh! And watch out for the tall white lady that lives down on the opposite end. I had the curtains in the living room open, and she was standing outside looking inside of the cabin. Creeped me all the way out. Again, beautiful property, quiet, but this ordeal made me sick.
